Very cool heli, but why do they feel the need to fly under the 11KV overhead power lines?

The problem is/was: is a normal Digitalcam, no proficam and i hace to zoom in and hold that position. so it was very difficult. next and better video in august 08. then i will film again this cobra...

it gives the model more stability! but u can chose a scale head! if u can fly it lol

older helicopters had them, except instead of small blades they had weights. see pics of the bell 47. i believe it was the first to use a stablizer (fly)bar. the pilot's controls essentially operate the flybar, and the flybar changes the pitch of the blades. the input is 90 degress out, but it works due to gyroscopic precession. like holding a bicycle wheel by the axle and spinning it. you try to turn it one way but it has a 90 degree opposed force. that force is what the flybar uses. cheers!
