Since it came in the mail, i have been using this thing every day and i love it. No more going on my computer to print out maps/directions and, no more paying verizon navigator. My nuvi has already paid itself. Oh by the way Zig, nice X-Mas present :)
I would also spend an extra $5 and get a vent mount for this gps....suction cup or bean bag mount can be illegal in certain states and plus it can be seen from the outside of the car leading to thief.....vent mount are not so obviously seen from the outside
JUST IN::: For Costco members...Between March 2-22 , Costco will have the GARMIN 880 for $250...this might not be a big deal....but buying a GPS at Costco is because GPS DOES NOT fall under their 90 days limited waranteed....which means you can return the unit ANYTIME....I went thru 3 GPS updrades over the years without putiing any much money out.
I would not recommend putting on the windows unless you want your car window bash in...and it will happen I guaranteed that. Put in a place where it's not visible from the outside.
For its $200 price mark , this the best Garmin you can get with all the important features. i just return Garmin $700 top of the line 885t because it was missing the music auto start feature and it's voice recognition was not all that good for it's price. Though this 780 model lacks 3d buildings and lane assist, it has all the major features anybody would want for $200.
I have the 660, but someone broke into my car and stole the charger, so I decided to get the 760 and sell the 660. My 760 is in the mail and I can't wait to get it. I paid $360 less than a year ago for the 660, and now I paid $200 for the 760. Garmin GPS are the best... I really like the 660, but the 760 has some additional features.
thanks for the review, it's for sale for 280.00 where i am at. I was gonna get the garmin 255, but this looks much better.

3 more days can't wait for fedex :) i have tested the 205/305 they were both "dead on" so i know the 760 should be perfect also. Nice vid zig :)

I have that GPS. Basically the best, it's very simple and has all features (except voice recognition, which only works in USA with Garmin 8 series)
