@starfear494 Thanks for the nice comments...No his eyes are fine, his vet says he's great.... (I wasn't good at touching up red eye then). He is so gentle and loving...and although still puppyish inside, he's a big boy now!

Does he have cataracts in his left eye? The flash off the camera makes cataracts mirror and seem glazed over in photos - just asking. I dream of owning a husky one day

@MechaTeapot Not that I know of...vet says he's just perfect.  I don't know if huskies are prone to cataracts. Just know they are full of energy and love.

@onlineappletuts I am not so sure a husky will do well off leash. If you are on a farm, how will you stop him from running away? Huskies are escape artists. Good luck though....huskies are the sweetest dogs ever!

@onlineappletuts huskies can stand the heat to a certain extent, late answer but, huskies are for the cold enviroment they will need extreme amount of water and shade to cool them off but yes huskies can stand the texas heat, they will shed a lot so don't worry about that but you need to fence it up with a deep foundation and high fence, and they need large amount of exercise walking them won't do you'll need to give them atleast a whole acre of land for them to run wild but good luck to you

wow i have a female JUST like cozmo even with the amber eyes!!! but shes a little lighter and shes barly three months old. how can you keep cozmo in the house. my huskys start to pant and they howl kuz they wana go outside. even in the car i have to put on the airconditioning jst for them.

Cozzie is my granddog and a I do believe my son named him Cozmo because he is a Seinfeld fan. Cozmo is the sweetest boy....still a puppy at 3. I just can't get him to howl like huskies are supposed to!

I'm really glad you posted this. I can tell you really love him, and it's always great to see that. lol aren't red huskies cool? I like the name Cozmo too. Why'd you choose it?

And a tip about the fur-- if you get a pet hairbrush and brush him each and every day with it from tip to tail, you won't find nearly as much of his hair everywhere--especially if you get the right brush, one that will collect all the hair so you can dispose of it rather than inhale it.

Well its actually not a serious problem at all. it could happen if you touch the dogs ears too much . For example, a german sheperd. when he is a puppy your not supposed to touch its ears at all so that it could start pointing up by the time he is big. If it is already too late, there are these special braces you put on their ears like they do to a dobermans. ( a doberman's ears are naturally hanged but people like it up, so they use this brace made especially for dogs.) Hope this helps :)
