This anthem is gentle and beautiful. I, too, am part Danish (a Peterson grandmother). A few years ago I was fortunate enough to spend one day in Copenhagen, and I highly encourage a visit. Some day I hope to return for a longer stay and more in depth study. Just roaming the castle and through the town were spendid.

Ww2:

1. Sweden traded iron with germany and if germany would invade sweden would blow up the iron mines. Iron were needed and hard to find to make more tanks.

2. After middle 1944 Sweden stopped trading with germany since they had an army that could repell them.

3. Sweden didnt have a strategic location for the germans so they didnt need to invade.

Denmark and Sweden were basterds though WWII. Denmark signed a paper that said we were alligned with the Axis and not the Allied without a fight.

Sweden allowed the Germans to transport iron from Norway to Germany, but was never really involved in the war.

At last Norway. Norway fought bravely against the Germans though the German army was way stronger. The norwegians actually stopped the Germans in making a nuclear bomb.

I feel sorry for Norway for having coward brothers.
