Yes, you would. I do have a habit of staring at random people. However, even when they're alone in the lift (or just an elevator, for that matter), there's no need to turn around so quickly and dramatically. Oh well. It's Star Trek. They can get away with Warp 10 lizard-humans and Charlie X, why shouldn't they get away with something as trivial as how they enter a turbolift?

it's whatever you want to call it. but you know when you first begin up the stairs you'll do a quick start step. yes you're weight goes up in the air but it's not like he was prancing :)

it wasn't necessarily a skip. more like a random quick step that people do a lot.

Oh I see where he steps up really fast because of the step. It is sort of a half-skip.
