After watching all three parts, note that Inger Stevens is touted for her roles in films on THE MOVIE OF THE WEEK and THE SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIE...that's because she was slated to play the female lead on THE SILENT FORCE, before her untimely death, which may not have been by her own hand (that's Yvette Mimeaux in the role). Meanwhile, THE YOUNG REBELS was originally titled YANKEE DOODLE, but it was thought to sound too hard hat/Silent Majority to attract the youth audience.
The Young Rebels? I thought I remembered a TV show about the Revolutionary War from 1970. I have literally spent 35 years trying to remember it! I hope the original negatives are in good enough shape to see it again someday. Soon everything will be available online. I just hope somebody finds it and posts it before it degrades much further.
I was sent to bed at 8:30 weeknights and at 9PM weekends I only got to watch The Brady Bunch and The Partridge family. Geez almost all these people are dead now.
I'm reminded this was back in the days when your only option of seeing a movie you missed was when it was shown on TV several years after. In those days, before cable movies, they could garner big ratings.
So many special memories and i was a huge fan of The Brady Bunch and Partridge Family, more a fan of The Partridge Family though i had an extreme crush on David Cassidy.
Where do you get this stuff?!!! I WAS around to see these shows, and seeing this brought back some sweet memories! Many thanks, Bob! Please post more!!
Thanks. I will put more up when I have the time. Not sure if I'm going to put up any show opens. That was a lot of work the last time, and everything was taken down.

I just watched all three parts of this, and you know, ALL the shows previewed are better than the pap on TV today.
Real actors, real directors, real writers.
THIS is why I buy DVDs--All the best shows are older ones!

I know what you mean...I waited in great anticipation of the "Partridge Family", one of the all-time great family shows.

We got our first color tv and brought it home and the first show I saw on it was that first episode of the Partridge Family. Good memories.
