  • Esta musica me tranquiliza tanto!!!

  • Looks like sauron also dislikes this :(

  • sound of hope!!!!

  • You could play this anywhere in middle-earth and it would make it magical, even Gimli's toilet

that is why these movies are so beautiful

  • 2 dislikes. Sauron and Saruman

  • so fuc*in epic. this & soundtrack from skyrim are the most epic sountracks EVER !

  • looks like sauron disliked this...

  • This music makes me euphoric.

  • fuk dislikers

  • One day of the month, I watch the extended versions back to back.

Becoming sorta Dwarfish because of the sitting around. :D

  • The fool of a took should throw himself in next time, and rid us of his stupidity.

  • 1 disliker is an Orc

  • J. R. R. Tolkien you take us to a place in our hearts untouchable by anyone else <3

  • The best adventure in the whole Universe

  • One of the best soundtracks of all time! 5 Stars!

  • I bought only like 4 sountracks from movies but I have to say the quality of this song on my CD is just... much more clear. Especially the flute which starts at 2:11 or 4:40. English does not contain correct word for describing that.

  • sauron dislikes this video.

  • I think I broke the replay button :)

  • I am so going out and buying this soundtrack! :D

  • @Kaelthas666 Think glad friend. The Hobbit is coming

  • My favourite part is 0:00 to 5:57

  • This is seriously so good. Really well thought out music that mixed well with an amazing trilogy.

  • Sorry for the swearing BUT THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME!

  • One dislike to rule them all

    One dislike to find them

One dislike to bring them all

And in the darkness bind them.

We must cast it into the fires of Mount Doom!

  • lol Speak friend then enter.

  • 3:33 - 4:40 is my favorite part by far!

  • This song brings me to almost-tears every time I hear it. Being the apathetic wreck that I am, that's the most I can say of any piece.

  • Where is this from!? It ain't the original. An orchestral performance?

  • I'm saying something in elvish. There i've said it.

  • 02:10- 02:50 one of the best part out of this soundtrack!!!

  • @Kaelthas666 I agree with you so much. Made me cry the first time I watched Return of the King. The ending of an era, of such a deep bonding, of a loving brotherhood. I wish Tolkien had written more to the LOTR series specifically and there were still movies coming out to this day. It is the saddest part in the whole series, the good bye and ending of such a strong love and fellowship.

  • 1 dislike..fool of a took!

  • I love this version

  • They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!

  • oops, Rohirrim*

  • Was Fellowship anybody else's favorite, or just me and my brother?

I mean, the music was the most iconic (save perhaps the Rahirrim theme), the extended Amon Hen was a truly epic battle despite, or because of, its smaller scale, and this scene was heart-wrenching, even without the sung part making it into the movie itself.

I saw Fellowship in theatres six times. It is the only move that has made me cry since I was six.

  • @bbrake Yeah, it's my fav too...BUT they are all great. The amazing thing is it was the only one I didn't see in Cinema. . I had just recently seen the NEW Star Wars, an was so disappointed in this joke of a film, that when my family asked me,( being a Lord of the Rings reader in the 5th grade) they were amazed I did not want to come. I explained to them that I could not bear another film disappointment on my favorite story. A joint, a film, and a house to myself changed all that.

  • @Kaelthas666 im glad im not the only one that feels that!

  • I can listen to this song over and over and never get tired of it. It's an amazing mix of sounds that tie together all emotions. Nothing can compare. It's just epic.

  • this isn't from the soundtrack. This is another orchestra and a little differently arranged. Where did it come from? I like it.

  • @PhilsStuffofDoom This is from the score, the real version. the complete recordings version, not the generic original release. So much better, isn't it?

  • @TheRedFraction holy cow, I guess I never listened to that on the Complete Recordings CD. That's very likely, since before 2005 (when I bought the complete recordings) I listened to the original release like a madman and then got a bit fatigued by it - time to listen to it from the complete recordings then. :P

  • oh cool, I never knew that aragorn's standard actually looked like

  • oh cool, I never know that aragorn's standard actually looked like

  • How long does it take for one's heart and mind to explode? 5 minutes 57 seconds. :)

  • @Kaelthas666 reading your comment and listening this song made me cry...

  • @Kaelthas666 The Hobbit is on its way

  • Hahahaha , 1 ppl doesn't like LoTR. wtf! Who is the retard? ^^

  • It is all the Celtic images in these movies that amaze me.

  • i think someone accidentally clicked the dislike button

  • for me, i luv fantasy. i read fantasy, i draw fantasy, i write fantasy....and lord of the rings is one of my faves.

i luv the first part of the soundtrack from 0:00 to 0:54 and then i like 2:10 to 2:40.....i cant wait for the hobbit!!!!

  • @Kaelthas666 I feel exactly the same! 'Tis a horrid feeling, i'm prettu sure every true Lord of the Rings fan will also agree with this. When it finishes, every time I well up! :(

  • The first movie was good, the two others was a heap of pretentious, 2-dimensional crap taking itself too seriously. But the soundtrack for the trilogy is awesome!

  • this music can ONLY make you feel good in any situation

  • 'all you must decide is what to do with the time that is given to you'

  • Peter Jackson is the Stanley Kubrick of our generation.

  • this is how the first half should be, nice and slow

  • I cried

  • I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE HOBBIT!

  • @yusasasa exactly it's my favorite part cause right at that part is when aragon say's let's hunt some orc's and they take off.... tell me you would not like to be a part of that world.. or hell at least have been an actor taking part in this movie..... pure beauty and magic...

  • @Kaelthas666 i know what you mean... i didnt want to go see the third movie because i knew it was the end.. but my god what a beautiful ending it was...

  • @Kaelthas666 why the hell is this marked as spam.

  • Comment removed by Saruman

  • Love the soft drums @ 04.00!

  • This song gives you a sadness/happiness in your heart.

  • boromir at his death: i would have followed you to the end, my brother... my captain... my king! always makes me cry. boromir deserved better than to be corrupted by the ring and then in his moment of despair be killed. remember boromir, son of denathor, captain of the tower guard. a faithful son. a good brother and an incredible friend. never forget.

  • @scorpin969 -The beauty about his death, is that in his drakest moment, he saw the light. His death scene is epic. How many times did Frodo temporarily lose sight? The key to the fellowship, is that....even in death, they never abandoned each other, and they all held their oath.

  • @cajenner10 well said. its so true.

  • The effect is magic...

  • The 1 person who dislicked this had a misclick, this is great! :)

  • the best soundtrack for the movies ever. my most favorite classical music :)

  • lord of the rings 4 ever

  • these are the best compositions on this world <3

  • why after 3:40 i can hear scratches? somethinkg like shtchch

  • my life has so much influnce from lotr.

The music and spirit of the movie. of the books.

just everything of lotr makes the world so much more beautiful.

there is no replacement for lotr

    there will never be.

Lotr is truly a piece of masterwork.

The best thing human's have ever created and we must be tolkien very thankfull for his gift.

Lotr is more then just a story. Its a story with a soul. A hearth. Which can make you cry. not of sadness but out of beauty

  • We will never forget Tolkien! Never! Your world is so amazing!

  • The Lord of The Rings is the best book / movie that has ever been written. It has captured the hearts of millions worldwide over the years. A wonderful blend of friendship, loyalty, love, honor.

  • Lord of the rings is a movie where the most importand thing is friendship...

its all about friendship in these hard times..

And it is treu ,Lord of the rings hase chanched many lives..

I treuly wanna see the person that isnt chanched by lotr...

Lord of the rings hase so much deep feelings not just only by the music , but the story 2

it realy hase chanched many lives....

  • Howard Shore is an amazing person. He really captured the various moods LotR expresses at different times and made us feel them through his music!

  • 1 douche missed the like button :)

  • a movie so close to tolkiens vision... and music that is TIMELESS

  • Cool white people music!

  • @yaphank fucking racist?

  • long live King Aragorn, Son of Arathorn, of the house of Arnor and the kingdom of Gondor!

  • What's the name of the cd?? =)

  • 3:40. Awesome change.

  • This song actually makes me tingle, it is so great.

  • Fantastic piece of music

  • Aye, classical music can have that effect on people.

  • Awesome song...

    Awesong film( trilogy )...

Awesomes Peter Jackson and Howard Shore!

  • "I'm going to Mordor alone"

"Of course you are, and i'm coming with you"

    "You can't swim!"

Those lines make me laugh and cry at the same time! Howard Shore is genious. So powerfull.

  • I would love to get a tattoo of that =]

  • I LOVE this song you dont get any better than this Lotr will always be my fav

  • Howard shore is amazing, and of course Peter Jackson to :)

  • I LOVE LOTR'S. Lotr's is truly a wonderful film and will always be my fave trilogy of all time. I love Boromir and Frodo! I cry soo bad when Boromir dies :(.

  • woah nice music

  • "I'm going to Mordor alone."

"Of course you are, and I'm coming with you!"

    "You can't swim!"

That scene makes me cry. Everytime. Frodo sacrificed his life for the Ring, but that was Sam's first step towards becoming the true hero of LOTR.

  • this is such a powerful piece of music...

    LOVE IT!

  • Beautiful song. The Lord of the Rings movies will always be special for me. The sountrack is amazing for all three movies!

  • u should put ALL of the song on there its really 7:20 long

  • DAMN! I love this song... Amon Hen, this song, In Dreams, the best lineup in any soundtrack ever. Why, oh why couldn't the other two films have had as good of soundtracks?

  • wow

  • i don't think they could have possibly done a better job on this soundtrack

  • Comment removed

  • why do so many people hat LOTR it is so amazingly deep

  • @PoofythePuppy All is because of the enemy of all knowledge: The ingnorance

  • @PoofythePuppy No they don't. LOTR's considered one of the most epic movies of all time, even listed as one of the best. Peter Jackson sure did make cinema history.

  • @LamentedGrief i didnt mean critics, i mean every day movie goers, average joes, tend to ridicule it

  • @PoofythePuppy no one hates lord of the rings

  • @PoofythePuppy not that many people hate LOTR. on utube its just those 3d maniacs that keep spamming, but in real life they dont dare voice their opinions like that lol.

  • @PoofythePuppy To the contrary; very few people hate LOTR.

  • @PoofythePuppy Well, just look at the dislikes. 1 person out of almost 65,000.

Guess Gollum took the time to crawl out of Mt. Doom to dislike the video or something, eh?

  • @PoofythePuppy Because hats are awesome.

  • @PoofythePuppy because, young shireling they've never seen the special extended edition.

  • Brings a tear to my eyes

  • there should be a huge lotr club where, cds and movies and games and all the tolkiens books, and things are sold ...

  • when i saw the scene in Two towers with this music (when Frodo almost attacks Sam in Osgiliath) it was really emotional.. It reminds me Titanic...

  • Everytime I hear this I just wanna cry and Boromir is one of my most fave characters ever and this song was playing when he died :(.

  • lol I almost wanna cry.

  • when i heard it the first time i did lol now it's on my ipod so i'm used to it.

  • It would take alot for me to get used to this and not cry. The scene was a bit emotional.

  • Indeed it was. A lot of scenes in the movies were emotional but i think we owe it just as much to Howard Shore and his brilliant music.

  • Indeed my friend. :)

  • guys..i love tolkien and his books. they take me somewhere else away fron all the problems..its a dream...you travel with the characters to adventures and happy moments...! i have all the cds the movies all the books . • Yes he would. R.I.P. Tolkien

  • Man.

    He would.. He would.

  • @Wurstwasser14 actually, He hated the first movie.... the animiated ones.

  • @PraetorSlayer2 the Bakshi ones? I actually really enjoyed that version. So did I enjoy the Rankin Bass version of the Hobbit.

  • Tolkein, Jackson, Shore - three greats that have made something in cinema that will be forever be esteemed.

  • When the cold of winter comes Starless night will cover day In the veiling of the sun We will walk in bitter rain But in dreams... I can hear your name And in dreams We will meet again When the seas and mountains fall And we come, to end of days In the dark I hear a call Calling me there, I will go there And back again
  • touching :')

  • its so great and sad

  • Truly the greatest series of films ever to be created. The music affects me in such an indescribable way, Howard Shore is a genius!

  • I hope they make a movie about the first war with morgoth and that

  • Oh sorry dident see its seven stars there. Its one in the middle of the tree, a smaller one
