@Kaelthas666 I agree with you so much. Made me cry the first time I watched Return of the King. The ending of an era, of such a deep bonding, of a loving brotherhood. I wish Tolkien had written more to the LOTR series specifically and there were still movies coming out to this day. It is the saddest part in the whole series, the good bye and ending of such a strong love and fellowship.

Was Fellowship anybody else's favorite, or just me and my brother?

I mean, the music was the most iconic (save perhaps the Rahirrim theme), the extended Amon Hen was a truly epic battle despite, or because of, its smaller scale, and this scene was heart-wrenching, even without the sung part making it into the movie itself.

I saw Fellowship in theatres six times. It is the only move that has made me cry since I was six.

@bbrake Yeah, it's my fav too...BUT they are all great. The amazing thing is it was the only one I didn't see in Cinema. . I had just recently seen the NEW Star Wars, an was so disappointed in this joke of a film, that when my family asked me,( being a Lord of the Rings reader in the 5th grade) they were amazed I did not want to come. I explained to them that I could not bear another film disappointment on my favorite story. A joint, a film, and a house to myself changed all that.
