It depends, the FAMAS is an instant killed if all three shots hit, but at moments you miss you could be screwed, which is why I prefer the auto guns like the SCAR which is also very powerful. It all depends on what you like and what your best with.

Kill-cam makes Camping near impossible, as soon as you camp-kill someone they can sneak around you and get a payback kill. (assuming they watch the kill-cam and not just respawn right away)
