  • i watched ur lesson ...and learned it......but when i play it too much noise occurs.......any suggestion?

  • @blindsaquib My first thought.... play slower. Noise is usually a by-product of technique (not muting, bumping adjacent strings etc...) or too much gain on your amp. It's hard for me to say what I think you personally should do without watching and hearing you play. Sorry I couldn't be more specific with my answer. Dave.

  • is the best cover I've heard

  • Have not heard anyone play that solo like that since listening to one of my guitar teachers back in 87

  • Awesome man! Thank you so much! This solo It's a memorable piece of work. I tought i never would play this, but thanks to you now im able to do it!

I listened to another solo in a "Baby im gonna leave you" cover by pink. The guitarrist is Justin Derrico and makes this insane final solo. Can you meka a lesson on that one? Or at least break down the complicated fast stuff.!

Thanks again and greetings from Argentina!

  • You must get a lot of pussy.

  • great job man!

  • thanks truelly great..

  • Very awesome dude. You got everything right down to Steve's tone in the movie. The tabs I've found are hard as F to play. I know they're arpeggios, but your version looks and sounds accurate. Any suggestions?

  • @RPREYNO My suggestions are 1) Enjoy your time on the guitar.... I've found that nothing inspires playing more than the simple love of playing. 2) Avoid serious relationships... Nothing eats into your practice time like a needy woman. Instead, try finding several fuck-buddies to keep you busy downstairs. :) 3) Take everything one step at a time, playing is a journey not a destination... so enjoy the ride. Regards, Dave Whitney.

  • @devilsinheavenvideos LOL I think you are just about right man never thought of it that way be I think you are very very correct if you are a serious guitar player because a serious relationship can be a distraction

  • @RPREYNO this is not a super hard song to play theres a 100% accurate Tab ob ultimateguitar site the hard thing is playing this fast thats the hard part lol takes a lot of practice just start slow i can play it but not this fast but i keep playing it everyday so hopefully will speed up slowly

  • @217DAnDONEGAN check out my video titled "Eugene's Trick Bag Played Slowly". It's in my lessons playlist. At 2.45 I show how I play the chord at the end. I call it the Hawaiian chord :)

  • very well done! u played it a lot faster than any other cover i've seen. :-)

  • @debbieluvsibanez Thank you kindly Debbie :)

  • I play it different? hope my arps are right lol

  • Quite sure in your other video you were saying about keeping it all even and telling people to not speed up or slow down. Your doing exactly that

  • @nellythewelly Yes you are quite right, however there is a huge difference between speeding up and slowing down in a controlled and expressive fashion (which is what I'm talking about), and speeding up or slowing down because you can play one bit really well and one bit not so well... First comes complete control... then comes controlled expression. Hope this helps. Warmest regards, Dave :)

  • i love your style in playing this piece!

  • Awsome playing! I bet you could destroy cannon rock.

  • hahahahaha.. isso ai.. velho matou a pau... ningu[em.. fez um cover do steve.. que nem voce parabens.. irmao, demais.. demais... o final entao... VERY GOOD.. AMAZING BROTHER.

  • HOW DO YOU DO THE LAST NOTE/CHORD?!?!?! :O thank you :]

  • @MynysterVengeance It's what I term "the Hawaii" or "second inversion" chord and is simply your first finger barred across the D, G and B string at the 14th fret (A chord) and your little finger plays the high A note on the high E string at the 17th fret. You just scoop down with your whammy bar before playing the chord then release it as you play through the chord. The movie version has some other stuff in there care of the studio environment. Hope I've helped. Regards, Dave Whitney

  • @devilsinheavenvideos Thanx for all your effort i have stumbled upon your vids about 2 days ago I already subscribed and im going on the third lesson of this series, i can not stress enough how thankful i am for you sharing your talents with us, i have the DVD of the movie and since i saw it a couple of years back i have bin wanting to learn how to play it,and from what i have seen so far your tutorial is the most thorough that i have found once again thank you and please keep the vids coming

  • Fantastic. Increible!!!!!!!

  • Awesome job, thanks for posting.

  • any tips on increasing my speed?

for example.. i cant dream to get the beginning correctly... the hammeron/ pulloffs

or any exercices you know to increase my speed in general?

(no guitar tutors living near me... so gotta teach myself =/ )

    thanks in advance ;)

  • @helldemon618 just found your other vid on that subject.. xD thx man

  • @helldemon618 you just gotta keep practicing man, im not trying to brag here but i was able to play that intro riff up to speed the first time i attempted it. a good away to practice it though is try trilling with each finger (middle, ring, pinky) on various frets across the neck. hope this helps

  • @coke4ever321 yeah thanks ;) but i already got it lol :P just adjusted my handposition a bit xD

  • @helldemon618 all you need is a metronome (use an online one for free!) and a shed load of patience. Play it really slow then gradually get faster in small increments of like 5 bpm it really is the only way if you're not naturally quick

  • @willdude21 i figured out how to do it like 5minutes after posting ;)

just needed to move my wrist a bit :P

  • awesome dude awesome cover

  • Great playing! Do you have an accurate tab for this?

  • @Meursault86 I created one specifically for the way I play this. Look in my "Lessons" playlist for the tab. Enlarge it to full screen and view it at the highest quality. Hope this helps. Dave.

  • freakin sweet squeal at the end 1:03

  • could you play the whole battle?.. your really good!

  • No probs,, khaiky5 how do you know dave,, did you follow the Devils?

  • Comment removed

  • Well, I never actually knew Dave that well until his youtube account, but I am a fan of the Devils.

  • I think dave tells you the chord in lesson 12,,

  • @feverperth1

Whoops, I guess I missed that part. Thanks for the help.

  • Thank you very much, Dave.

  • Also, what was that chord you played at the end?
