Hi Does the Ematic E5 have 2X zoom? according to buyers review from WalMart it did not have 2X zoom, any help before i buy?

I got this player today, but I'm not pleased with it. The interface is awful:

-Single VOLUME button, which toggles volume up/down (you can only do this when playing the file)

-Don't hold down any button, or it will go into stand-by.

Plus, it doesn't actually have 4GB of storage space; the device simply deletes files to free up space when adding more.

I'm returning it ASAP.

I just got an E4 w/ 4GB. It worked great until I charged it. Since then, the touchscreen will barely respond. Even after resetting it. I'm so disappointed. 1:23 The video says this device doesn't support ITunes files (.AAC). If all your music is on iTunes, you'll have to convert them to .MP3 before this device will play them. That goes for *any* mp3 player that doesn't support .AAC music files.

I got mine last week and for some reason the external speaker won't shut off even when the headphones are in. The headphones play and the external play at the same time. Anyone know how to fix this? I've already reformatted it twice, once from the computer and once from the player itself. Also sent an email to customer service. They were about as helpful as your average retard.

@Trublhappn sounds like a head phone jack problem to me, sometimes they are bad and dont connect properly, which cause them both to play at once.. most of the time only one earphone will work when this happens

I got this Ematic Mp3 for my B-Day, and it broke a week later cause the screen froze. I had to wait 2 months later to get it back, and when the months past and i got it back, it would come up with a green screen. These are so awesome, but do NOT get any water on or in it at all! Because mine was like a day old and i left it on a table that had ice-water on it. Then in the morning the screen was all messed up. So I ordered another one. WATCH OUT FOR WATER!

Go into My Computer\program files\ itunes\ and there should be a folder in there with all ur music. Just take it copy and paste to ur mp3

I bought one of these a few months ago and i no longer have my receit so I cant return it but whenever I plug it into my pc or turn it on it just sits at the startup screen with the water. Try letting it charge for days at a time, when I do that with mine I start loosing bars after 1- 1 and a half hours. If that doesn't work, then I don't think there much you can do about it. after all this product is known for it's low battery life.

Yes it has an equalizer. Make sure you get the newest version of this model if you decide to get this instead of the 3" touch. It is the E5 series (EM504CAMB, EM524CAMP, EM544CAMBU, EM564CAMR, or EM584CAMG) and it has been upgraded to a 5MP, has an FM Radio, and a few new features.

do u use limewire??, cuz if u do one or more of ur songs could of had a virus, and corrupted ur audio file, cuz the same thing happened to me, either u can get a new one, or just not be able to add new songs on it. i got a new one, and now when i download music from limewire i always scan it first

hook up your mp3 to your computer and then you can highlight the drive or the exact music file ( i usually do the files after each download), right click and choose scan.

I've been really lucky with limewire and scanning each file is probably why. Be aware though that sometimes when a song plays on the computer, it still may not play on the mp3. You may get a file error message. In that situation, delete it on the drive and find another file.
