I knew Roslin wasn't going to make it, but between Adama putting the ring on her finger and Kara disappearing I frakking lost it. Most amazing show ever made and the new standard for all future Scifi shows.
Excellent! I just finished watching the series on Netflix. Which did not do it justice. I just bought the first and second season box set cant wait to start watching it, and the bonus features. Again excellent tribute!
Excellent! I just finished watching the series on Netflix. Which did not do it justice. I just bought the first and second season box set cant wait to start watching it, and the bonus features. Again excellent tribute!
I cried when the last episode aired. All the hair on my neck stood and i i just felt this wave of emotion flow through me that i never knew i had when they showed Roslins grave with Mr. Adama sitting there talking about the easterly view.
They finnaly made it.....
Simply the best show i have ever watched in my 26 years of being on this earth.
the cyclons they do fight with are roge and they fought the old cyclons and the new ones but the new ones some of them didnt know the final five were and were betrayed by cavil
I can say this and it is maye a spoiler: Cylons are not always cylons, there are differents by theyr thinking. Because this they fight with human against other cylons but look it to understand the whole story
I like the meanings hidden in the script ,the thought of Galen Tirrel going to "the Highlands " hence Gaelic also his wife was Cali (Calidonian perhaps) 2000 years ago Ressurecrtion happened ,life also apprently began in Africa and the Missing link child Hera its all very deep and told with good humour
Unbelievable, thanks so much for this tribute video. I really didn`t think it was possible to be as emptionally affected as much as I was by any TV series bu there you go. So say we all.
Excellent , Excellent video....Great job. There is something more important than being the guardians of the fleet, and that is being the guardians of imagination.
@Adalla001 . Wrong its not a story its not a sci-fi show . Its the moust .. its about us and whats left from us and and about whats realy important for human kind.
They're rogue. Basically, Cavil hid the identities of the Final Five and where they came from from the other models. Only Cavil knew who they were. The Centurions were also treated in this sense, and had an inhibitor preventing higher brain functions. The rouge Centurions had those inhibitors removed, and rebelled in the same sense as their forefathers did against the humans for being oppressed.
The Centurions that did not rebel still had those inhibitors in place, and I'm assuming the original models still held their grudge against the humans.
@Imaginatier Let's just say that both the bad and the good aspects of human nature and cylon nature are more similar than either care to admit. It's only by this season that more and more humans and cylons begin to accept that.
Thank you all for the 15K views and 100-view-per-5-star-rating ratio. I'm very glad to see that people are enjoying this Tribute to the greatest show in the history of entertainment. So Say We All.
@Adalla001 well thank you for posting this video, i loved watching bsg from start to finish, i was drawn in to it from the word go, thumbs up if you love bsg, so say we all
I must say, This tribute is the best I ever seen. it is a shame that BSG has ended. The Serie may be done but we are still remembering it. The serie will never die aslong we keep it in out hearth. I hope that after BSG - The plan they will make another movie based on the plan but that we will see the whole Colonial fleet, like the Atlantia, Valkyrie, Titan, Hades, Aries and so on.
Best tribute ever! Great work and ty for sharing it.
Still with no chance of resurrection - why Cavil choose the shoot out at the end. And especially kill himself. The only reason I can come up with is that he hated to be human. His human form nor believe in the pad of faith/ god. Yet the path he choose to the absolute nothing is still a big leap.
I've got another interpretation: Cavil was a sadist. He really loved to torture people - rather in a psychological then physical way. Even Elan told he is a sadist to him.
So now he had a choice to be either killed painfully or be captured by the humans without hope to come free, or blow his brain out fast. So he, knowing what torture is, chooses the faster way.
Yes Cavil was a sadist, I think that made him more human than machine - in some way. This as sadism comes with 'certain human emotions' - which he despites. Or it must be his programming - than the final 5 "mum , dad" are in a way responsible.
Still I really like his dialoques ... and from a certain view on humanity he is right. This as history is always written by the victors - so certain statements and opinions could be highly altered in favour
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Cavil is also not always cavil: if you've seen the Plan, there is one cavil there living with the insurgents - and he, on the end of the film, is also more human and thinks the attak was a mistake. However, seems nike the "evil Cavil" made it to box the other one, coz there was no cavil on the cylon opposition in the series..
forgot to add star trek's commander riker said it best so i'm just going to quote him, i'm going to miss this ship she went before her time.
i cry every time i see laura dying such a beautifully acted scene edward james olmos and mary mcdonnell should be given oscars for that very sad but excellent scene.
that scene alone proves that sci-fi doesn't have to be about battles and sexy aliens.
Thanx m8. Honestly I think it's one of my best works to date. I keep coming back and watching it over and over again. I'm glad I can share it with other people who enjoy it as much as I do.
"Even some belive otherwise, I do belive man is better as assumed and as long as People love, create and share feelings and emotions we all be some kind of Angels and truely not alone. Great Video 5/5."
I don't think I have ever been as satisfied with the ending of a great series as I was with this episode. It was action packed, filled in the gaps, confirmed some of the things I had long speculated about like Starbuck being an angel and brought you, finally, into the full picture of why some of the crew behaved like they. It also ended with a great question, will it all happen again? We can't blame the Cylons this time lol
That was really good! Very sad and deep, just like the show! I really enjoyed this and I hope you make another one! =D
P.S. I don't think Caprica will be as good as BSG. The movie they let out wasn't as good, and it also seemed way too graphic to even be allowed on public T.V.!
The saddest moment of my TV viewing life was when Adama walked through the empty hangar deck to leave Galactica on his Viper (as he had done so many times before over the last 40yrs) for the last time.
Now, this Thursday I'll watch the Cycle begin anew as Man battles Terminator in T4 Salvation!
BTW, Caprica rocked! Here's to hoping they get to tell that story fully & lead into another spinoff about Husker serving on Galactica in the First Cylon War!
mine too a tearn nearly came to my eye as he walked across the hangar deck several more came to my eye when roslin died and adama was at first unaware of it roslin's prophecy came through she said he would lose both women in his life galactica and laura and he did although i hoped he would live happily ever after with laura.
my saddest moment was the galactica drifting off into the sun with the fleet. And then the humans splitting up and most likely never seeing each other ever again. Aswell as adama on the hangar deck as the last person and with roslin when she died. It was one hell of a powerful ending to the series. I wish it wasn't the end, but atleast they went out on a fantastic way, and the series was never spoiled by bad episodes written just for more money.
Indeed. However, I really wish they had taken time to do a multi-episode arc that involved integrating the Pegasus and Galactica crewmembers before unceremoniously killing the Great Galactic Goddess, Adm. Cain! That was my one complaint: the Pegasus characters were all very interesting in their own right and I think it would've been wild developing their interactions w/ Galactica & dealing w/ Cain trying to consolidate her power in the Fleet. Oh well, it was still AMAZING!
What i really wanted to see was them expand on Starbuck a bit more, and maybe tie in all the characters in the plot just just little bit extra. But i think it was still a brilliant ending, strangely fitting for bsg, with all the humans splitting up and stuff.
Thanks for producing this video. To me this is the best TV show I have seen. I really like the original one too, I think it had a lot of potential but it was killed off because the networks did not want to get into deep story lines. 25+ years later we find that it was allowed to go way beeper then the original one but I am betting there was still a lot of resistance. I hope that Caprica is just as good. - We shall see.
I think its awesome how by chance that one crew that was hit by the asteroid at the beginning of the mission decided to arm their nuke, then later the woman was hit by a rock, which made her hit the launch button, and it was at a perfect angle.
Fantastic tribute, best I have seen so far, loved the music towards the end so heartbreaking, I still have tears in my eyes watching Adama/Roslin scene.. Just brilliant!

Exellent answer and you could be right.
Yes Cavil was a sadist, I think that made him more human than machine - in some way. This as sadism comes with 'certain human emotions' - which he despites. Or it must be his programming - than the final 5 "mum , dad" are in a way responsible.

Thanx m8 :) Glad you liked it. First song is by Two Steps From Hell it's called "Freedom Fighters". It is the soundtrack of the new JJ Abrams Star Trek Trailer 3. And btw, I did credit all music in the last frame of the vid :)
