There's too many differences inbetween...He created an alter-ego that he's fully aware of(Not one that just popped out), He's doing this to get a girl and not bring down corporations, and he's a teenager...The only similarity is that they both have a main character with an alter-ego(Be it this one looks the same as the host)And they have plenty of movies with dual personalities. So...shut up?

I dunno, those differences seem arbitrary(especially the teenager one). I still think the main idea is being copied. A loser invents an alter-ego who's really bad-ass and destructive and helps break the original person out of their shell, and then something explodes at the end. Plus a girl was involved in Fight Club too, it just wasn't the only focus.

micheal cera is a poor actor at best, can anyone name a movie where he doesnt play the same character over and over again?. Juno was good, only because ellen paige is tremendous. Superbad was good because there were skilled people that could play off his stale character type that he plays in every movie. Add some new skills to the arsenal, and then you may become, dare I say it, a GOOD actor
