Of course this is pure big business propaganda and has nothing to do with empiric economics. It's to redistribute money from the middle class to the über-rich.

Tax competition across the EU is one of the main (if not the most important) reasons for Greece's budget troubles. Compared to the European average, the do not spend too much, they tax too little as a result of their dedication to tax competition in the past

American for Tax reform is actually a non profit organization (lobbying front) for wealthy conservatives. They do not disclose their donors and is a crook organization who sell their anti wealthy tax agenda.. Grow up !! find the truth

-Where else would money come from? You could argue that it can just be printed, though that's a sort of tax on existing money. Basically, printing money will push everyone into commodities.

-Businesses eliminate unemployment, taxes increase the difficulty in running a business. Thus, taxes are bad for employment.

-The govt produces nothing except violence. They can steal from one person and give to another, but they can never create value, only private industry can.

- Indeed money can be printed as we've seen in QE1-2. This money was lent to banks at 0%. I argue that it would be much better to lend it at 0% to businesses who want to employ people.

- I agree that business tax is too high for some however some businesses (particularly zombie banks) are allowed to use offshore registration to avoid any taxation.

- The nation would be far worse off if taxation were stopped.

- Social security needs to increase to prevent people becoming destitute.

-It's true that increasing reserves makes capital available, but the government can only access to that capital through taxation, not by printing. Also, have you seen the franchise numbers this year? Loans for businesses are way up.

-I don't think that the government has a role in the operation of any business

-I don't want a dead stop on taxes. I'd like to see people taxed on profits rather than revenue.

-Taxation needs to decrease to keep people from becoming destitute.
