This is all a little too twee and schmaltzy for me. I mean - we all had to loathe Nicolette. Such a reactive bitch. But the actress who played her has done a superb job in generating such disaffection. yes, Jeannie was superb as the serene composed Barb. And you couldn't help liking Marj's sweet naivete. the character I most consistently hated - apart from Alby - was Bill. Such a moralising, egotistical prick. But again - great job by Bill Pullman.
