this tutorial was just for details, you left out some very important things like layers and all of the other comands from the draw and modify menus ... needs more and with less details :)
Since so many people appear to be interested in learning the Autocad program, I decided to start up a FREE, GO TO MEETING series of Autocad lectures. The lectures will be FREE and if you would like to participate, please let me know so that I can provide you with the URL as well as the time and dates of the lectures.
I do auto cad almost everyday and this is a good refresher for me as over time you tend to forget some of the easy things,I use cad 2010 and have used 2006 2009 all good Great videos and when i was just starting out there was nothing like this around . So for all of you this is a real gift belive me good job

Jim, Thankyou very much for these tutorials. These have been most informative. I have registered on your sight and will be Subscribing for more tutorials. Excellent instruction: Very simple and easy to follow. Keep up the great work.
I really appreciate the refresher course. I had brain surgery 4 times and dont remember a thing. One thing that I might add; refer to the mouse as left click and right click. Its actually distracting to hear you explain which button you use. Besides that Perfect videos to comprehend nicely, thanks
hey thank you very much for taking the time to make these tutorial videos. I wish i would have found these videos sooner so i could learn how to use autocad and print out the plans and copy them on trace paper to save precious time. i'm new to autocad, im using 2007, and i put it on 3D by mistake, how do i get it back to 2D?
leo2ron 3 years ago
hi, i have 2007 also.
to go back to 2d or plan view, go to
1. View toolbar
2. 3D Views
3. Plan Views
4. World UCS
World UCS is always set by default whenever you open a new template unless if a template is set up in 3d.
i hope i helped, good luck !!
