@littlearnoldcar : i shld not have called it a flick. Its inspired from another movie's theme. The name is Flashdance. IR is good in his own way. But has taken lots of inspiration from other musical pieces so did ARR and many others. I wont put Deva in the same league, he copies the whole song.

He believes he produced 1 more raaga to the 64 established raahas and he is invincible. For that kind of personalities, they would rather die than copy or steal some one's work. Cuz once they did that, their ego would collapse...and to them their ego is like their heartbeat. Going by psychology, illayaraja would never even think of that..
