Reiner should have re-named his movie, "North - A Modern Day Version of Alice in Wonderland". The themes are all there - Bruce Willis is The White Rabbit. North is Alice. And of course, North/Alice meets all these weird, insane characters who are overly fixated on him and want to either capture (adopt) and/or kill him. Ugh...Reiner...You had no original backbone to come up with your own ideas for a plot when you decided to make this movie, did you?

I think the joke about the Texan parents' son was that most people would automatically assume he died of some obesity-related disease, because he's fat (obviously), but instead he died in a stampede, which could happen to anyone. It would be almost impossible for even skinny people to outrun a stampede. :)
