Before my Grandma got sick, she looked just like Betty White. The personality is the same and every time I watch her, I feel like I'm seeing Grandma again. It's wonderful!!! Love that old broad!
Betty White was by far and away the best host of the show since George Carlin kicked it off all those years ago. I swear, if that were the last SNL ever, it would be a worthy tribute and sendoff to the franchise.
i watched snl on hulu due to working the night before. i usually dont watch snl much anymore anyways...i have not impressed with exception of tina fey and amy pohler but i have to say i laughed the whole time watching betty white as host. it was hands down the most fun i have had and i just adore betty white and i hope she gets anything she wants. love the animals......keep up the love. we love you!
SNL needed Betty more than Betty needed SNL. Kudos to SNL for having their highest rated show in years. Betty was awesome but I felt she was too good for that show it was nice of her to host. Was a delight to see her.
You know during her initial SNL monologue if I was there I would have probably started chanting, "Grand-ma Bet-ty." Never seem to get angry at any of her acts or appearances.
Betty White was such a good sport on SNL--and FUNNY! You could see how the cast were honored to work with her. She was gracious as well. As a viewer, I was thrilled to see her. Good for you, Betty! (not that I expect her to be watching youtube)

The skits were written perfect for her. The Macgruger skits were hilarious. really great job. Jay Z wasn't that great, but the singers with him were. Who was the girl singing, "New York?" I thought it was Alisha Keys at first because she sounded just like her on the song. thumbs up tonight for SNL
@desperategirl932 Not a huge JayZ fan either, just like how he dedicated "Forever Young" to Betty White. I swear, the woman is unstoppable!!! lol I don't know who sang New York with him. Such a great show!!! i hope the ratings were through the roof!
@buffycharmedangel102 I am an avid SNL person, but never really laugh much at the skits, but last night I laughed at all of them. They put her in every skit, which seems amazing at her age when other hosts aren't in as many and rely heavily on the cue cards. Her eyesight probably isn't as good to read cue cards, so I'm assuming she had all her lines mostly memorized, which is amazing too and to be nervous as well. I read some of the reviews last night, and these writer's just want to stir
@buffycharmedangel102 up controversy.They said that the skits were really ghetto for her, and kept focusing on her age.I read the reviews wondering if they even watched the show, and if they even know anything about Betty White.Those skits matched her personality, and who she has always been.Her comedy is based on her look being sweet and innocent, but she has always played that bad side too. Not bad, but not innocent. Not sure how to explain it, but the skits were not in bad taste as they said.

They were dissing SNL saying that SNL didn't give her any respect since they wrote skits that were degrading to her, or made her seem ghetto or skits in bad taste. I highly disagree, and think the writer has no clue about Betty White and who she is, and didn't give her enough respect that she wouldn't do something if she thought it was disrespectful.
