  • Hahaha that was epic good job!

  • That's the way we ought to integrate the two things we are most passionate about: filmmaking and family and not necessarily in that order. Great!!!!

  • Very good work. What effect software?

  • Haha Brilliant little actors in a spaceship pretty good

  • GREAT!!!!!

  • Great job guys. My dad was a cutting wood and fix cars guy. I had to learn this stuff myself. Loves it .

  • What great fun to watch, THANKS!

  • 18 people dislike kids being kids.....GREAT WORK GUYS!!!

  • Given some of the actors in todays HOLLYWOOD your kids deserve an ACADEMY AWARD! Well Done!

  • Need to work on your chromakey skills. The kids are too close to the green screen and the bottom of the screen should NOT be tucked in. You want to eliminate any shadows on the screen. I'd put better lights on the screen and light the kids separately.

  • hey! great video! what program did you use to make this video? also where did you get the sound effects... thanks..

  • Awesome work!

  • Very good family movie...

  • Great Job !!!!!! What Fun !!!

  • that is just awesome !

  • Look at those little professional actors! So cute! I'm re doing my room and painting a whole wall light green to make my set. I want to try something like this! :)

  • NICEE!

  • this is nice, where did you get the green screen itself from, and how much did it cost? I'd like to do something like this with my improv troupe!

  • @DoctorPlutonium you can getgreen screens on ebay for about $15

  • NOT GOOD NOT GREAT BUT SUPER AWESOME FANTASIC

  • Ha ha.... BLAST MOMMY, BLAST HER!.... Now that's what I call direction! Awsome

  • i like how his feet disappear when he's on the ground

  • Can you tell me where you got that background or give me a link to it? and the song at 3:25 what is it? thanks! I'm interested in making a chroma key sci-fi movie too!

  • not a great work...weak comment me down but im 16 and i could do it milion times better if i had green screen

  • @Cr1ptlord

They did this as a family project, not an eye-candy "Avatar" movie. And I have seen your channel, two video's neither displaying that you could do better than the person who made this project. I don't have video's but I am not trying to make fun of anyone. Just think of what you can do before you type.

  • @finalfantasiest1234 1 video is not mine and second i havent bothered to do well cause it doesent matter whats on video cause video is not the point...

  • Thats cute:)

  • #LOL

  • this is awsome you kids are amazing and the the the special fx are awsome

  • see that, those are the faces of future big time actors.

  • Amazing work! Where can i get big green screens from?

  • That was great.

  • Haha very funny, and cute! Your kids will probably remember this for quite some time, and be very thankful that you do fun stuff like this with them!

  • jaja, muy bueno!

  • haha cute

  • Awesome. This shows thta kids could have fun in movie projects at a young age...What programs or sofwear do I need to make something like this? My little brother, sisster and I love to watch Star Wars. So watching this I would like to recreate a sceane but want to know what I must need to do so.

  • This was very well done and it looks like you all had a great time making this! Congrats!

  • This is classic! These kids will probably never forget working on this project. Really great to see other people who like goofing off with green screens :)

  • Heh funnnt

  • great job i totally loved it

  • Awesome...can't wait til my daughter is old enough to do the same. Your kids will be very glad you did this when they are older.

  • That was wicked, well done dudes!! XD

  • AWESOME!!!

  • I like it so much ! u rock man

  • hey tutorialtutorial123 dont be such a killjoy, i think this is awsome how the parents have spent time with they're kids getting them to be creative, when my little boy is old enough im gonna ask him what film he wants to be in 10++++ TOTAL RESPECT FOR YOU GUYS

  • Awesome. what did you use?

  • lol! cute! ;)

  • lol shoot mommy shoot mommy

  • Good job guys lol

  • great!!!!!

  • you should use more blur on the chroma key cutting, and shadows, and better background, it looks kind a fake, but nice work !

  • @tutorialtutorial123

lol well cuz it is fake

  • wow you should make a movie like that

  • tat was rly rly good

  • shot mumy xD lol nice vid:)

  • Looked fun, but the keying was pretty crude. You can see the edges boiling. Proper chromakey isn't done in one part.

  • cool

  • I think the parents should be holding that award.lol

  • wow i love it

  • Awesome, great work

  • i like it very creative

  • "Now shoot at mommy!" lol

  • funny funny funny great job

  • You forgot the shadow on the floor...

  • thats pretty creative, hopefully i can get like that

  • so good

  • lol so cute lol

  • BRILIANT! :)

This is extremely helpful with more than just green screening work. I loved the demonstration of the layering of each added effect, and putting it all together. Just absolutely brilliant.

Thanks, and keep up the great works! :)

  • nice but at affter effect some shadows whit a solid and pen tool this would be soo awesome

  • wat software did u use like fx home or something?

  • Now that's what I call a family project. Great work guys!

  • You missed their shadow or reflection...

  • this guy's a great director!!!

  • what program was this made on??

  • "shoot mommy, shoot mommy"

  • Wow this is really neat

  • i loved it!!

  • The last part is funny XD!!

  • Ehehehe GREAT VIDEO!!

  • it took u all summer to make a 3 minute video. wow. usally i make my projects a day of shooting and a day of editing. and their lke 5 minutes. i use adobe after effects

  • Wow. Can I have your autograph?

  • Shoot ur mom oh oh

  • Where's the blood? IT was sooo cool... nice guys!

  • Wow that was awesome man! You migh have to teach me a bit once i get my greenscreen. Ill subscribe to you.

  • What software is it?

  • Adobe After Effects is my guess.

  • may i asked what software you used as it looks great. cheers.

  • Adobe After Effects is my guess.

  • That was great!! It looks like a fun time was had by all.

  • I agree, the production deserves an Oscar!!

    Yeah! ;D

  • nice work that's really awesome.

  • Very good. Nice attempt. but there's one important thing, you forgot. Shadows. You should rotate the footage uspide down, rotate it a bit, change the color to complete black, add a little edge glow, decrease the opacity, and then it's goona be solid! ;) Nice work so far!

  • That's great!! I can't wait until my son is old enough to have this kind of fun with our green screen!!

  • I loved it haha :D

  • Lol really really cool

your kids look like they are having a right laugh

  • great effects but you have to improve the green screen keying!

  • realy, i think the keying was perfect?

  • great effects there

  • hey this is spectacular. I am using sony vegas, what are you using. and can you tell me how to cut out the corners that are not lit on your editing program. I would really appreciate it.

  • I used FXHome Composite Lab for the chromakey. It has a function called a garbage mask within the chromakey. It allows you to compensate around the edges where your key color isn't the greatest by applying a 100% mask over top. It forces the keyer to key out that area regardless of the color. I don't know Vegas, but look for some kind of mask function within the chromakey and that will likely do it.

  • wow!dats good!really good!5 stars!
