@jeanmunn Isn't that sort of the point of what Heston does? Taking familiar recipes and re-imagining them for a modern audience, whilst retaining enough core elements to maintain a spiritual connection to the original.
I love proper Bagna Cauda but this version is wrong. It's traditional and doesn't need reinventing. It's like me reinventing chicken soup by adding beef. Just leave alone.

Bagna caoda is a traditional recipe...and this version is completely wrong! This thing has got nothing to do with the traditional recipe!
1- We don't use breadcrumbs
2-We don't use lemon juice!
3- We don't use the mixer! All the ingredients cook together for a long time until they mix
4- "caoda" means "hot" in dialect. It has to be served very hot!
