Psychiatry has really damaged me. It helped me go from not being able to go to the mailbox for fear that one of my neighbors would murder me and screaming my head off whenever I was in a car, to being almost completely independent five years later. Such awfullness!

What better way to control your members than to keep them off psychiatric drugs that they need?!? They recruit people who've been through either recent depression, or recent trauma (i.e.- VA Tech the day after the shootings there) Scientology recruits the depressed, lonely, and bewildered. The medication by the Pharm company's own studies works about 5 percent of the time. It is great to hear they work for you. With that said, 200,000,000 scripts are written each year for this group of medications. Something wrong with that number, we all would agree.

The thousands of studies and articles in psychology are not unscientific. They are rigourous, and detailed. Duane, Scientology's view of psychiatry is extreme, distorted and psychotic, reflecting 100% of the paranoia of its founder, L. Ron Hubbard. Isn't it odd, that a group whose motto is "think for yourself" produces a flock of people who think "exactly" what Hubbard thought?

I think it's a case of making up your own mind about any issue, there is always two sides to an issue each individual will perceive it differently depending on their own knowledge and experiences. I went to IAS annual event at Saint Hill where there seemed to be a big emphasis the anti psych thing and the drugs prescribed.

I doubt it, although they should. I went through the L. Ron Huubard Life Exhibition years ago before they knew who I was. That's vastly amusing too.

I stumbled upon there video. It is sad to say that it is all true. I wish it was not. It appears that the evils of Psychiatry is the best known kept secret. The more I research, the clearer it becomes that the CCHR is 100% correct. I know nothing about Scientology, nor care to, but the CCHR movement against Psychiatry is honest and righteous
