@funnycutiespeople you cant really chose between fcp and ae. ae is a compositing and motion graphics program, fcp is an editing program. They work together not... some word i cant remember. He did do an episode on fcpx, btw, just dont get it, it sucks.

Hi Ryan, I appreciate this was made a while ago, but just watched it - question- you suggest 60fps interlaced (not progressive) for slo mo - I avoid interlace, because of that video TV look (which is not for me), rather than the film look progressive gives - wondered why you specify interlace - and your footage looks like the film look is preserved - how so? have I got the whole interlace/progressive thing wrong or did you correct in post?

If you can't change your frame rate, that means that you are already shooting in 30fps or 60, so yeah you are good to go.

No, once you slow your footage pass what we did, it will start getting choppy and ugly.

For the slow-mo you see in Zombieland you need a high speed camera like the Phantom.
