If I'm not mistaken, it's a song that was in the sound test area but never used.

@FireOps David Wise (The music composer for DKR) was contacted, and he told the person that the music was originally for "the level with the pirate ship".

We assume he meant this was beta music for Cresent Island.

oh yes, I remember when I use the cheat Jukebox, id get the sound test and that song was there, but it wasnt use in the game at all

hold on i noticed something near the end the rare symbol caught my eye that isn't the original rare sign at that point in time it was the rareware sign (the rare sign in a blue square) that doesn't make sense

My opinion on the balloons are that they were used in the party sequence, used for a beta minigame, or used when you beat a boss.

I'm assuming that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd baloons were going to be for when you finished a race in one of said positions.
