What is it with brandy and all of these slow songs. Admittingly, it's Brandy so I like them. I want to hear Brandy do some hip hop rnb. I have always thought of Brandy as being one of the most innovative artists. She used to be ahead of the curve. Songs like What About Us and the entire Afrodisiac album. Even Talk About Our Love. After that I don't know what happened. I think that all of Brandys' trials have caused her to have a somewhat down spirit. I hope she perks up for her new album.

Her voice has really grown and developed a lot of depth as she has aged (not that she is old), but when she first came out, it is like she sang high, even though she is an alto. It's like every song on the album is a hit. It took a hot minute for her to come out with another album, but it was worth it!

Brandy does a lot of vocal layering. Maybe some of you are cofusing that with autotune/vocoder. She records a bunch of different tones and keys of choruses and stacks them on top of each other.
She does have VERY LITTLE vocoder on her voice, but the way she is using it is the proper way to use it. T-Pain uses it to the max which is aggravating. Most of your artist today are using some type of Vocoder or auto-tune effect to tune up their voices..
Like Beyonce's background vocals for Halo has auto tune on it. The Dream Rockin That Thang has auto tune. Keyshia Cole make me over has auto tune, Single Ladies has auto tune and many more. They use it the proper way though. T-Pain just abuses it and people go out and buy the sh%it.
True...a lot of singers uses it on backing vocals, including Keyshia Cole...but Brandy uses it a lot on lead vocals as of lately and I don't get that because she doesn't need it. Her voice is too husky for it and it's strong enough that she DOES NOT need it.
Please all die hard fans out there, lets support Brandy and go get the album as it deserves to be a success. I mean listen to any single on the album.....! Please lets show the world that a true artist exist. She dance, act, sings and perform live. Let do it all Brandy fans. People do not understand how much this album is needed right now....they are all joking on her accidents, and the fact it flopped on its first week...they forget that the album contains a missing element that these other bland and cliche songs have today and it is substance....others do not know how this album can affect people, especially if they have problems, its definitely inspirational....and anyone religious and non-religious can groove to it.

released a decade ago i can still listen to. her music is quality truely what artists are meant to be. Maybe her being underrated is what makes her special and humble. I dont know all i know is shes beautiful inside and out so is her music. Just thought i had to say that.

its just that the vocals are beautiful, her songs have meaning so like i can listen to them over and over again. What im trying to say is brandy is something special underrated but special, her songs are timeless they dont go out of date like eg disturbia by rhianna if i heard that song now i would cry cause it is just annoying after the first couple of times hearing but songs like sitting on top of the world by brandy

Dam another hot song by brandy. She so underrated i swear if they kept this song exactly as it is and said it was rhiannas song it would have been top 10 easily. All of brandys songs should be top10 songs like disturbia from rhianna were good but right here departed and all of brandys human songs even those that were not released where better,

Brandy does a lot of vocal layering. Maybe some of you are cofusing that with autotune/vocoder. She records a bunch of different tones and keys of choruses and stacks them on top of each other.

She does have VERY LITTLE vocoder on her voice, but the way she is using it is the proper way to use it. T-Pain uses it to the max which is aggravating. Most of your artist today are using some type of Vocoder or auto-tune effect to tune up their voices..

Like Beyonce's background vocals for Halo has auto tune on it. The Dream Rockin That Thang has auto tune. Keyshia Cole make me over has auto tune, Single Ladies has auto tune and many more. They use it the proper way though. T-Pain just abuses it and people go out and buy the sh%it.

True...a lot of singers uses it on backing vocals, including Keyshia Cole...but Brandy uses it a lot on lead vocals as of lately and I don't get that because she doesn't need it. Her voice is too husky for it and it's strong enough that she DOES NOT need it.

Please all die hard fans out there, lets support Brandy and go get the album as it deserves to be a success. I mean listen to any single on the album.....! Please lets show the world that a true artist exist. She dance, act, sings and perform live. Let do it all Brandy fans. there were alot of timbaland songs that never got chosen for the album. This might be one of those. This song doesn't really match the Human Theme. This album was about introspection. Not about keying a dudes car. LOL!!! It's a hot song though.

I agree with Leon, the song Human will help. People do not understand how much this album is needed right now....they are all joking on her accidents, and the fact it flopped on its first week...they forget that the album contains a missing element that these other bland and cliche songs have today and it is substance....others do not know how this album can affect people, especially if they have problems, its definitely inspirational....and anyone religious and non-religious can groove to it.

Rocknox I couldn't Agree with you anymore than I do now...and the sad truth to it is The ONLY reason Brandy's album didn't "do well" is point blank BECAUSE she is actually singing about something....She has matured and has separated herself from the crowd of "Singers" who are only trying to survive in the game by singing shallow stupid songs that they don't even beleive...I personally bought the album and can say every song is a REAL song....with Real words for REAL people..lets get real people.
