runners do exist. when i was a kid (8 through 11 yrs) i was a runner. heck, we even called ourselves runners! there was a lady (name will not be disclosed) who played the role of Merc. she gave us the goods (unlike mirror's edge where they transport physical goods, we only transported info through speech), we "ran" to relay it to our clients. good times! i wonder, if i were to go back to my hometown, if things are still the same and if there is a new generation of runners.

It's a shame this game wasn't very popular. I loved it but I wish that it was less of a ridiculous story line and more about carrying information between organisations. I think there was only one reference to what the runners actually do in the game, and that was in the prologue where you throw a bag to the other woman. I'd love to see a longer, more in-depth and relevant story for Mirrors Edge 2 (If they ever decide to make it - It'd be a huge shame if they didn't as it's a great concept).

It is called parkour, and there is version of it where you mostly do flips and show off which is freerunning.

Check out Glyphmedia on youtube, they have a lot of Parkour and Freerunning there.

Electronic Arts says it hasn't thrown in the towel on the Mirror's Edge franchise. During an interview with IGN, EA Games President Frank Gibeau said the publisher continues to work with developer DICE on ways to bring Faith back for a second game.

"We're looking at ideas for it, absolutely," he said when asked about a sequel. "We just haven't figured out the right way to bring it back yet.

@AnKo96X This ads is shown only after the authorities really decide to chase down the runners. They become too much of a problem for them so they decide to lure them out in any means necessary + they haven't been existing officially but most of the people already knew about them. And still -> they had to frame them for Pop's murder so they just couldn't "hide" the information about them anyway.

@LittleBrittle360 dang, just letting you know, Faith didnt have ragdoll physics like the other characters ya know, her back cant move and amoung other things. The only time you see faith in 3d in a cutscene is the final cutscene where she hugs her sister, even then she looked weird. Also the next level loads during a cutscene unlike most games with ingame cutscenes. I'd go into more detail but our character limits are killing me....

They're after her because they think she's part of the murder of a high-up person named Robert Pope. Her sister was caught for it, and Faith was seen fleeing from the scene. So now, the mayor and his people, they all know that she knows things they don't want her to, and they need to shut her up anyway they can, including killing her.

It might help if you'd just look up the chapter vids on this site. It's not very long...which I have a problem with...
