I was at this show. Jake Shimabukuro headlined and The Usual Suspects played the middle slot. Jake even mentioned how he was blown away by them doing Aja. This brings back fond memories of a great night of music.
As I began to research this band, I have found they are from Laguna Beach and that they open for major touring acts. After viewing this version of "Aja", I see why.
fantastic. it is so satisfying, to clearly see that these guys have understood the music, and do nothing less than interpret it..life is good to these guys...
Wow. That was quite amazing. Drummer even got the stick click in. Just need a tenor player to fill in the Wayne Shorter madness. Top notch stuff guys.
Wow! Thanks for sending this link to me John! I have seen many bands 'try' to pull of Steely Dan songs, but never have I heard anyone do as good a job as you guys did here. Sorry I missed the show. Outstanding job guys!
Very few times do I go to a show to see the main act, and have the opening band perform a set that was so riviting. I was yearning for this band to continue performing instead of waiting for the main act. Their rendition of Aja was incredible. You must go see them if you have not already.
Not Steely Dan, but a solid rendition of this Dan classic. Great vocals.

Deja'vu! I remember seeing this band on my last vacation to the coast. I luv the Dan & these guys impressed me with Aja, my favorite song.
Surprised to find this video while surfing youtube for Steely Dan's Aja in concert. How cool! Especially the tooooo hot guitarists, they caught eye.
Can't find a tour schedule online for Usual Suspects. RU coming to the Phoenix area soon? Samanthaaaaaaa

I appreciate these guys doing this tune, but I so thought the groove was way too stiff. Vocals were great!!!!!!!!

best vocals i've heard from a dan covers band, which no one seems to be able to pull off that well- but here they do.

I stumbled across this video and I am glad I did.
A job well done as Aja is not a simple song to perform.
I especially enjoyed the vocals.

Jeez!
Very nicely done, I have seen these guys before.
They seemingly can play anything.
Lots of talent here for sure.

Fantastic Steely Dan Cover. I saw these guys open for Jake Shimabukuro at the Coach House last month and was blown away.
