i have leaked gingerbread rom.. since qmg isn't cracked yet, would there be anyway to make this stock rom compatible with bootanimation.zip files? I really wanted to change that, but only that.. I love the stock rom. When I try to run bootanimation.zip I get into bootloop. I really wanted this to work

I have the LG Optimus V (vm670) and I have NO IDEA where to put my boot image at. I see bootanimations if I go to file manager > sdcard > goodies, but its bootanimations (folder) and then boot_animations_list (-rw) and then a tmp (folder).. My bootanimations folder has "Clock Nightmare.zip" in it.

i'm running cognition 3.04 and the boot animation isn't in the data/local folder that you went to. when searched "boot" in root explorer, "bootanimation.zip" didn't show up. can i still just drop the new boot animation in that folder?

@neotekz I'm very leery about producing this one for the simple reason it involves changing the lfs partition which is also the bootloader. One wrong move could result in a HARD brick...I've done the mod but I'm not sure I should post something for it...
