Hey this so so frinking cool! comment back in a sooner time but any ways i have a couple questions. What pans to you use for the pot and the pumpkins What did you use to make the pumpkins green steam, the flames, and sticks Whats the over all cost How did you get all the colors and where can you buy the air brush, how much is the air brush and do you have to use different air brushs for different colors
What did you put on the pumpkins for the face How did you make the pot shiny?
OMG this is absolutely AWESOME! I want to make one for a halloween party i'm having, could you possibly tell me what i need :) thanks...ps. You are awesome at making cakes :O
This cake is very nice serious nice job bro!!! now i have a ? for u can u make the fondant black with food coloring? and if u can what colors u use to mix ?
is there anyway you can put up the video with out the speed i love this cake and want to try to make it for halloween this year is the dry ice safe though with the cake it is the best halloween cake i have ever seen
Wow props for your mad cake skills, I can hardly frost mine without having issues, I can't imagine how long it took you to actually do that. Awesome cauldron effect, very impressive!
if only it was this quick and easy, and really could bang a cake out in 4 mins! and wouldnt it be even better if all the equipment just reappeared clean and put away! good job on the cake wish we had things like this in UK! ur an inspiration too us Brits! :)
Hi that cake is great I see you used a air brush machine I also make cakes as u may see on my site but I knead the color into the fondant. Was the machine expensive and would you recommend an airbrush machine.
I would recommend an air brush machine. They range in price from about $30 to about $300, if you are just covering things a cheap version is fine. If you want to do sharp detail, you will need to spend a bit more. Compressors are fairly expensive as well ($100), but you can buy compressed air in a can for about $14...One can will cover about 10 cakes.
There is a cup inside the cake that holds the dry ice and the water...you just have to be careful to keep the dry ice and water from getting in the cake.
COOL! ;o Just when I tought well that was awesome now I know how to make a halloween cake - you go and make something like that :o I could never... :o
Is it just me or is the man that just made that cake Duff Goldman?:o

NATY2811 2 years ago
The cake is fine to eat...I put half a 2-liter bottle in the cake...all the water and dry ice went in that. none of it touched the cake.

villad69 2 years ago
You can make it by mixing in food coloring, but it won't get all the way black. You can also just use black fondant.

cakelover89 2 years ago
I wish I could, but the video is 4 hours long...sorry about that.
I used the bottom of a 2-litre bottle in the middle of the cauldron for the dry ice...that way the dry ice never touches the cake.
Thanks for the compliment! :-)

wow can u eat the cake with dry ice in it!? looks like you put water in it which would make it all soggy..
electrifizzle 3 years ago

cakephoria 3 years ago
Oo...
Do you people actually eat such stuff? I mean: REALLY?
I keep thinking about this question and really wanna know it!
My conclusion right now is two things:
1.: If you do:
GROSS! ...Not because it's eerie or creepy or anything like that - just because it looks unhealthy and noxious X(
Yanaschaf 3 years ago
2.: If you don't:
What a WASTE!
... I mean even if it's all genetically manipulated now: that has been FOOD ones. Do you even recognize how disgusting this dissipation/sqandering is?
Don't misunderstand me now, I am just curious.
And I like Halloween. I love crafting.
And in order to say something nice: I really appreciate the creativity!

That's got to be one of the most clever cakes I've ever seen.
And, yeah. Dry ice is a handle with care item--so says my resident science guy--but, oooh, the effect is so worth the special care required.

wow what a video! what did you put at the end to make all that smoke? is it eatable?
honeyzway 3 years ago
Thanks! :-)
It's dry ice and water. I put a cup inside the cake so the cake wouldn't get wet.
If you have never worked with dry ice, just be careful...it can burn you pretty bad.
cakephoria 3 years ago
That looks so delicious, did you get to eat some of it? O_O
