  • Impressive!! Great! Congratulations its a beauty Work.

  • LOVE this cake! Just wish I could get hold of dry ice in the UK to do something like this!

  • thats amazing!

    :D

  • Hi I'd like to make an office party Cake this would be amazing what did u put in the dry ice hot water?? also is the cake safe to eat afterwards?

  • The cake is fine to eat...I put half a 2-liter bottle in the cake...all the water and dry ice went in that. none of it touched the cake.

  • 54 it looks like an oreo

  • Do you know any good recipes for fondant? We made some but it didnt taste very good neither did it work very well. Nice cake though. :D

  • where do u get the dry ice from?

  • At the grocery store.

  • This cake is very nice serious nice job bro!!! now i have a ? for u can u make the fondant black with food coloring? and if u can what colors u use to mix ?

  • You can make it by mixing in food coloring, but it won't get all the way black. You can also just use black fondant.

  • @villad69 ARE YOU STILL HIDING FROM ME HONEY BOO? I ALWAYS HAVE WAYS TO FIND YOU MY LOVE ONE!!!!

    :D

  • Very cool! I want to learn how to make fondant. I heard the kind you buy doesn't take very good?

  • The Wilton stuff is not very good, but there are a lot of other brands that taste great.

  • fucking sweet!

  • what was the stuff you sprayed the cake with

  • black food colour spray (:

  • where can you get some

  • lol! this shit is tight! i like it! props!

  • is there anyway you can put up the video with out the speed i love this cake and want to try to make it for halloween this year is the dry ice safe though with the cake it is the best halloween cake i have ever seen

  • I wish I could, but the video is 4 hours long...sorry about that.

I used the bottom of a 2-litre bottle in the middle of the cauldron for the dry ice...that way the dry ice never touches the cake.

    Thanks for the compliment! :-)

  • how do u make the fondant?

  • I buy it in buckets.

  • Best cake I've seen you make yet. Wonderful job!!

  • Wow props for your mad cake skills, I can hardly frost mine without having issues, I can't imagine how long it took you to actually do that. Awesome cauldron effect, very impressive!

  • extra ! genial ! bravo !

  • did you go to classes or did you just devolop your own skills at home??

    your cakes are amazing btw

  • I am self taught, however, I ask a lot of questions of the "professionals" I know.

    Thanks!

  • im more amazed now!

you are now as decided my role model on cake decorating lol

    :)

  • if only it was this quick and easy, and really could bang a cake out in 4 mins! and wouldnt it be even better if all the equipment just reappeared clean and put away! good job on the cake wish we had things like this in UK! ur an inspiration too us Brits! :)

  • wow I luv that , it looks so much fun^_^

    I luv to bake :D

  • scary music

  • Hi that cake is great I see you used a air brush machine I also make cakes as u may see on my site but I knead the color into the fondant. Was the machine expensive and would you recommend an airbrush machine.

  • I would recommend an air brush machine. They range in price from about $30 to about $300, if you are just covering things a cheap version is fine. If you want to do sharp detail, you will need to spend a bit more. Compressors are fairly expensive as well ($100), but you can buy compressed air in a can for about $14...One can will cover about 10 cakes.

    Have fun with it! :-)

  • and what kind of colour do you use? I mean... Is it a special luid-eating-Colour? I guess we don´t have anything like that in Germany... :(

  • That's very clever!

  • wow can u eat the cake with dry ice in it!? looks like you put water in it which would make it all soggy..

  • There is a cup inside the cake that holds the dry ice and the water...you just have to be careful to keep the dry ice and water from getting in the cake.

  • Oo...

Do you people actually eat such stuff? I mean: REALLY?

I keep thinking about this question and really wanna know it!

My conclusion right now is two things:

    1.: If you do:

GROSS! ...Not because it's eerie or creepy or anything like that - just because it looks unhealthy and noxious X(

  • 2.: If you don't:

    What a WASTE!

... I mean even if it's all genetically manipulated now: that has been FOOD ones. Do you even recognize how disgusting this dissipation/sqandering is?

Don't misunderstand me now, I am just curious.

And I like Halloween. I love crafting.

And in order to say something nice: I really appreciate the creativity!

  • Not all kids like blood and bones,

    this cake is N---ICE!

  • cool....love it...

  • Where can you get Dry ice from and is it expensive?

  • You can ususally buy it at most grocery stores...but you have to show ID to get it.

  • .. hey, nice one!

  • Very nice! I was a little nervous because I wasn't thrilled with the flip flop cake, but, this one is fabulous. :)

  • That's got to be one of the most clever cakes I've ever seen.

And, yeah. Dry ice is a handle with care item--so says my resident science guy--but, oooh, the effect is so worth the special care required.

  • COOL! ;o Just when I tought well that was awesome now I know how to make a halloween cake - you go and make something like that :o I could never... :o

Anyway - DRY ICE?!?! how's that possible ;o

    Thanks! MORE CAKES!

  • Nice! That was awesome!!!

  • That's one of the coolest cakes I've ever seen!

  • wow what a video! what did you put at the end to make all that smoke? is it eatable?

  • Thanks! :-)

It's dry ice and water. I put a cup inside the cake so the cake wouldn't get wet.

If you have never worked with dry ice, just be careful...it can burn you pretty bad.

  • That looks so delicious, did you get to eat some of it? O_O

  • just awesome, thankyou for showing us.
