@deltaleader37 to combine the audio to video you'll either need a mic adapter that fits into your camera of choice or you could record it on a separate audio recorder and sync them in a program like sony vegas or a freeware equivalent.

@JoaquinandRene I just bought an Azden SMG-1X for $147 on Amazon. I did quite a bit of research on it and it seemed to be, by far, the best bang for your buck. If you also need omni directional sound (I didn't really need this as I wanted a boom mic for dialogue mainly) then you can spend an extra $50 and go with the Azden SMG-2X.

How did you eliminate the background noise in the second clip? Assuming you're in the same room with the same variables, I'd assume that even though the second mic picks up the actors' voices better, it would still hear that background noise.
