can my PC play this game with a 2.66GHz CPU with 2 gig ram and 1 gig of graphics card (I'm can't remember the name of it) with all setting maxed out and resolution at 1360x760 with no lag
it is without a doubt such a spectacular video game. i'd have bought it although i'm so thankful i received it cost free due to mw2forfreeWinfo (replace W with . ) so i can use the money on a good solid mouse.
whos using the most recently released map pack? uh i find it difficult to believe just how good it really is! its way too pricey however and so i simply down loaded it at mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) a few days ago. i'm gonna make use of the cash i ended up saving to get a different mouse
I believe that the M16a4 is the better weapon in the game. i very much appreciate search and destroy using this weapon. i fully cleanup the enemy base and then suddenly blow these folks right up when i use this weapon! everyone acquired the latest map pack now? its excellent ive just down loaded it of mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) yesterday personally
I'm not sure if it's your computer or just the fact that it's a YouTube vid, but it seems a tad choppy here. With your specs, however, turning off just one or two things should be able to fix the problem
@GamerJock Deffo get the GTS 250 if you can afford the 1GB edition. Just remember you're gonna need a big ass PSU of about 500w or bigger. The nice things are the 250's tend to have HDMI output, adio loops for Hi def sound and the 250 1gb version can run massive res on massive monitors where as the 9800 tends to drop off after 22".
gts 250 is alot better but u might as well get the 9800gt cuz the prices difference is 60 bucks unless ur willing to spend 150 for a card then get the gts 250
ok dude i'll tell you why if this is so. The E8400 processor is the shit at games!! i know your like why i have a quad core? Lol ok i have a quad core two but most games today work better on dual core systems than quads (most gamers have duals). however newer games or demanding games such as crysis utilize quad core systems. Anyway the brand of the 9800 gt depends too (pny, galaxy sapphire, etc). Look at the specs of your card as well (core clock speed, etc).
yes but its just "overclocked" 8800GT. Only memory clock is a bit bigger and few other advantages. but it does its job :D and looking that its quite cheap.
probably not. But even if you could there is question: does your monitor even support 1680x1050? and without anti aliasing the graphics will look much poorer
hmm. maybe it will. try it. if it doesn't than just try to overclock your gpu (i have stock zalman cooler (it was a bit more expencive) on my 9800GT and i could overclock it by 100Mhz (core clock/shader/memory) with almost no temarature rising. and your cpu (to 3Ghz)
pretty good. but i like to run in a little smaller resolution to get the smoother gameplay. my rig 8800gt little overclocked. q6600@3,0 ghz 4gigs ram. i dont own the game yet but i think it will run pretty well
my geforce 9800gt akimbo lags when i boost it to extra textures

Will this card run great on cs:s, how many fps?
norwaytoz 2 years ago
It will make CS:S look good and run great at the same time because CS:S is an old game, and this is a newer card.

I have the Palit 9800GT with only 1 GB RAM and I can run this game on all HIGH settings. With 50-60 FPS. It's awesome.

What kind of FPS are you getting with this card in multiplayer?
rgrmatt69 2 years ago
@halfpol
AA doesnt really affect performance much, its usually the filter and some games with CSAA that do more damage.

high i guess...
tranee91 2 years ago
probbably high with no lag. (2x AA, 60Hz refresh rate) on 1280x1024 (just cuz of bad processor)
overclock your processor to 3Ghz or 2.8Ghz and you can play on ultra high

you can overclock your GPU with rivatuner. I think there is one program for CPU's too but its batter to do it in BIOS
