  • the bloated soybeans

  • just common unknown knowledge , raw Soy flour causes pancreatic cancer in rats, need to cook it to avoid it.also im tired of many companies using GMO soybeans, if im going to have tofu i rather have non GMO tofu.

  • @THEunique4158 NO DONT BUY IT ITS GROSS for me idk u tho l

  • @3desicsWtHahaLOL LOOL! it is gross!! :P even when u fry it with vegetables it still tastes so bad!!

  • whats it taste like?? want to buy it just cause im courious lol

  • @THEunique4158 it taste like unflavored firm gelatine, but it's really good if you eat it with cooked dishes. it adds mouthfeel

  • I think you'll find there's no such thing as centrifugal force.

  • mm tofu

  • Who says its a silent H - I pronounce the H and I speak English like a native :-)

  • she pronounced the silent H in herbs at 1:57. smh

  • I live off of Tofu and Soy! Vegan forever! :)

  • Her voice is so annoying.

  • @roaneah i know right

  • @AnimeDoode lol [erb] is from french. and like the other one said, herb is British way from day one.

  • 1:57 FAIL - the H in Herb is silent, lady... :(

  • @AnimeDoode lol herb is british. so technically its correct, or, MORE correct.

  • wow, i love all the mature comments on vegetarianism.I'm a vegetarian because of the steroids used in animals, and i cant stand how animals are treated in order to create a food that will most likely just clog my veins with lard. I eat tofu, i fry that shit up with some veggies, and BON APPETIT, thats the end of it. I wont mock other people for being omnivores, its their own choice, but i will be damned if im going to let someone mock me for going with a healthy/enviromentally friendly lifestyle

  • @MegaFigPucker Wow! You're probably the first vegetrian I came across on YouTube that isn't a smug s.o.b. +1

  • @J88Wolf TYPO! >_<

  • @MegaFigPucker while it is true that many animals are mistreated and filled with chemicals, i stick still with local farmers who use organic feed and treat the animals with respect its more expensive but worth it,i still like tofu too just not always..

  • @MegaFigPucker I envy vegetarians and those who don't just don't understand it.

I, like them enjoy eating meat but I, unlike them don't think that only faggy fags don't eat meat because they're afraid of hurtin' da aminals.

Vegetarianism is way healthier than omnivorousness and anyone who can give up the severely potent tastiness of meats is a winner. I've tried being vegetarian but it's hard! everything has meat in it!!!

Whne I'm in a hurry the only vegetarian option is fkn peanuts! Peanuts!!!

  • Whata fuck

  • and now i know

  • how its made...soy bean cheese

  • Very interesting, seriously! :)

I should reduce my animal protein consumption with tofu. It's less expensive and healthier than meat too.

  • Serve me tofu for dessert, and I will throw it at your face.

  • this isnt the traditional way. wtf is this bullshit

  • korean tofu is the best. i know, im korean.

  • Those don't even look like legit todus o-o

  • Centrafuge-ul force.

  • i always like my tofu spicy...very spicy if not i'll just dump them away

  • ...And that's why I hate soya...

  • fuck that, id rather eat them dirty hotdogs

  • i coulda sworn that "herb" was Erb

  • HHHHerbs.

  • Domestic violence is a terrible thing, but it'd be a realistic thing if my wife had a voice like that.

  • CentriFUGAL force is not the correct term - its CentriPETAL force

PS. She has an annoying voice but the video was interesting :)

  • tofu may be REALLY healthy but its no replacement for a cood steak

  • Damn... I should do my homework.

  • eww

  • lol if u notice she pronounces some words wrong XD

  • I refuse to touch that strange bean curd.

  • ''Where the beans go to a crushing machine''

    ''Where they are crushed''

    NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

  • the Archimedes screw pure innovation.............

  • fried tofu cooked with chilli sauce, or they call it sambal here..amazing~

  • id rather stick to meat, Its natural

  • This all looks fucking disgusting, Im never trying tofu.

  • @ForTheMusic It looks disgusting, but tastes alright. I've only had plain tofu and it tastes like nothing so I guess it can't be gross if it doesn't have any flavoring in the first place.

  • @LaughOutLoudKristina I think...it might because of the genetic modification and the heavy processing. Back in China a lot of tofu is actually hand processed without using machines, and that tastes alright. The tofu I bought when I stayed in US, on the other hand, tasted like crap.

  • @ForTheMusic Mass produced food typically looks pretty rank. Look at the Hotdogs episode...disgusting. Traditionally prepared tofu, made by hand, is beautiful.

  • the best source of protein is still a red meat.

  • ◕_◔ DERP!

  • EPIC MEAL TIME!

  • How come this tofu looks so different from what I usually eat?

  • sen tri FYOO gul??? sen TRI fi gul

  • 5 people that disliked are epicmealtime fans

  • mmmm, GMO soy... good stuff.

  • I stuck my dick into Tofu, and turned it into a meat lover.

  • Tofu > chuck norris

  • tofu stinks

  • Tofu is nasty

  • i am not a vegetarian but i had so tofu burgers the other day and they were pretty good =)

  • I guess I've gotten so use to eating Tofu that I can eat it raw and unflavored now.

  • Damn that woman is annoying to listen to. :<

  • Tofu is freaking great when its cooked right, I went to China and visited a Buddhist temple and they cooked tofu, best thing I ever ate.

  • im korean and japanese and we eat tofo pretty often ,its good and theirs plenty of recipes u can try but americans r so picky

  • @phynixchen Would you look at that? A stereotyping of Americans! Never mind the fact that almost all "American" food is from another country. Come on over and try some of our regional delicacies like rattlesnake, mountain oysters, tripe, or chitlins. Or you could have a taste of home with some Sushi or Kimchi, both readily available in the states, and often eaten by Americans!

Or just go on believing that we all eat burgers and hot dogs for every meal.

  • @DragonXero you know if you are indeed american and not ''picky'' about your food then you wouldn't be offended about this

  • @phynixchen Really? So if I say that all black people like fried chicken, all asians have small penises, all British people have bad teeth and all Russian drink vodka 24/7, only people who fit these stereotypes should be offended?

  • @DragonXero well of course ,if its indeed not what your personality fits then why should you even be offened

  • @phynixchen Because it's essentially a lie. It's strips people of their individuality and attributes to them characteristics they do not possess. Don't misunderstand me here, I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to say such things, but when you do, you should realize that they might make you look ignorant.

  • @DragonXero i understand what your saying but the fact is most common urban americans are just very picky about their food and tend to not try other things

  • @phynixchen Well that's better, and a far cry from simply saying "Americans are picky". I'd still disagree with it, but at least it's better. I'd say that suburban Americans would be more likely to be picky, because they can afford to be, while urban city dwellers are more likely to eat whatever they can afford. The rich in this country certainly aren't picky, as they're the ones who start food trends, usually.

  • No animals were harmed during the filming of this video.

  • ive never tried tofu, what does it taste like ?

  • @rachelward1992x

its pretty tasteless...theres a very light bean flavor, but you cant really taste it. Thats why in chinese and japanese recipes its very common to add sauces and other foods to complement it

  • meat tastes so good

  • Her voice is the anti-christ!!

  • What is Protein? How healthy is it for the Animal in the body to be eating left over smashed product that's been sucked out of all protein? We need to start eating natural organic foods.

  • ........, whats tofu!? :3

  • SOMEBODY is a carnivore

  • you americans don't know how to make tofu... like seriously, flavored tofu?

  • @howchildish This is for Canada, idiot....

  • @RyanLikesAmp damn... :P

  • @RyanLikesAmp It's for Canada, but it's probably a American company

  • Lol 1 dislike on a tofu video XD

  • I love tofu. period.

  • I ♥ Tofu

    But I'm not a vegetarian. Weird :p

  • Tofu.... not eat in this way-.-

  • LEIK OMG YUR A VEGAN?

    HOW DO YOO GET PWOTIEN?!

    O:

    derp.

  • @EastCoastPeace3 You can actually get all the protein you really need through nuts and legumes. You can also eat tofu if you want; it's actually pretty good if you prepare it in the right way.

  • @Nicolerev1412 I really think that EastCoastPeace3 meant that sarcastically:)

  • Comment removed

  • @Nicolerev1412 True. I sometimes eat tofu because it's a cheap source of protein, not because i'm a vegan or vegetarian. What I do is i flavor it with chicken or beef bouillon powder and dry fry it to make it taste and have the consistency of meat.

  • @MsOutspokenOutcast Good idea. :-D Too much protein isn't good for you, though, so sometimes I have to be careful (I don't eat meat, and eggs only rarely, but I eat a lot of tofu. Truly a lot.).

  • @Nicolerev1412 alot of newbies dont get it right, it takes practice, just like learning to cook meats. I never learned to cook any meat when I was still an omnivore because I didn't like to idea of having to touch and handle raw flesh. Becoming a herbivore, I found cooking alot easier and even more fun because of the staggeringly huge variety of things I had to learn how to cook, all of them being okay to touch or even eat when raw. Tofu was my top challenge. cont>>

  • @MartyredxMaiden I figured out how to make tofu "chicken nuggets" and got my omnivorous mom to enoy it! Using unseasoned extra firm (pre-frozen) tofu. Next stop: seitan, the famous "wheat-meat".

  • @MartyredxMaiden I hear you about raw flesh. I don't know; it just grosses me out--is there anything especially appealing about a piece of muscle sitting on your plate or counter? o.o

There is such a variety of vegan food to cook and eat! IMHO the nutritious food tastes better, too. :-) And you don't have to be scared of having food in the house because the bacteria on plants tend to be much more harmless than ones on dead animals. Lol.

  • @Nicolerev1412 yes! I concur! I LOVE the taste of vegetables and the meals one can make with them. Not only vegetables but roots, nuts and seeds, mushrooms, potherbs, herbs, spices, beans and peas, tofu, seitan, hummus, falafel, the possibilities are quite literally endless. I think vegetarians and vegans eat a wider variety of food than most people in general put together! and its ceaslessly exciting :)

  • @Nicolerev1412 "is there anything especially appealing about a piece of muscle sitting on your plate?" Yes. I love vegetables (I even used to beg my mother to buy me spinach when I was little) but there is absolutely something appealing about a "piece of muscle" sitting on my plate. Primarily the deliciousness. I think I get to eat the widest variety of food. Noting is off limits. I officially win. As a side note, you implied meat is not nutritious. Silly, silly vegan.

  • @YourFavoriteAries Good for you! I love veggies, too. ♥ What do you mean, "I officially win"? You win what?

"Meat is not nutritious"--this thought I implied or you thought I implied *is* true, to a great extent. Where do you think the animals get the energy people get 10% of? There are lots of studies out there that say a plant-based diet is healthier than one with flesh foods (I recommend the documentary Forks Over Knives). Silly, silly meat eater. ;-)

  • @Nicolerev1412 And I recommend the documentary fat head, and king corn. A carefully executed plant based diet is surely healthier than SAD, but wait a minute.

Do I have to give up meat to be better than SAD?

Or a better question. Can a SAD eater who eats burger-fries-coke-sundae everyday become healthy by simply replacing the burger patty with a vegan burger?

The answers to both questions are no.

  • @90Rush Yes, you are completely correct--being an unhealthy herbivore is no better than being an unhealthy omnivore; thanks for the support in clarifying that. :-)

I'm glad for the new information and recommendations! I've read a little just now on Fat Head and King Corn; they seem to be pretty interesting films.

  • @Nicolerev1412 no matter how hard you vegans try humans will always eat meat because its way more delicious than your tofu shit

  • @CHADE47lol Your choice of words amuses me. It's always amusing to see people use foul language to try to make themselves look right, because it *never* works just the way humans will *always* eat meat. Right? Of course, right.

    Yente

P.S. A better way to put your comment would be, "Humans will always eat meat, no matter how hard you vegans try. It's way more delicious than your tofu ****." It is better grammar, right? Of course, right.

  • @Nicolerev1412 its you tube i can say whatever the fuck i want!

  • @CHADE47lol Did I say otherwise? I think not.

  • @EastCoastPeace3

I'm more concerned about where you get quality fat and vitamins, and that you view eating such processed garbage as healthy simply because its "not an animal".

  • @EastCoastPeace3 Well, how do they get B12?

  • Vitamin B12 supplements derived from micro-organisms are the only proven source for vegans. Human gut bacteria, spirulina, dried nori, barley grass and other seaweeds have been proven ineffective.

  • Geeze, she talks like were retarded or something. Lol.
