  • Thank you for watching the Atlantic Coast S Gaugers videos. The Erector sets are neat toys and it is amazing what can be made with strips of metal, screws, nuts, and imagination.

  • Very cool. I'm just getting back into Erector-set land with my seven-year-old daughter. Your display here is indeed topnotch and fun to watch. Thanks for posting and TG for AC Gilbert's imagination.

  • I never bothered to build the merry-go-round with my size 10 1/2 set back in 1959. I didn't like to bend those rectangular perforated strips and make the paint peel off of them! With a lot of effort, I did get the walking robot working, though. I sold that set a few years later and regret having done so.

  • This is a great video. I had 2 Erector sets when I was a kid. I built the airplane ride with the 5 1/2 set and the Parachute jump with the 10 1/2 set. It was so much fun. I spent hours building different models. I still have the same 2 sets today.

  • Hi. Yes. They were, and continue to be, great toys. Thank you for watching our videos!

  • I had an erector set when I was a kid and played with it for hours. One of the all time greatest toys in history.
