Sweet Jesus Greg, you're playing is AWESOME! I can't stop listening to your videos, how great they are! I feel so great when I listen to that overdriven licks... God damn. I wish all the great stuff for you man! Keep on Blues....
I played a 68 Bassman head the other day through my 2x12 Germino Cab but I like combos. Do you think the aa864 blackface vibrolux is similar to the bassman in the tone dept?
Beautiful guitar, beautiful sound. The inlays on that neck are seductive. Don't even get me started about the adequacy of the body and how well-crafted it is. I could just squeeze this guitar into wine and drink every last drop of it. :-)
I sure hope your cameraman (Stefan?) is your roommate or something, because he spends enough time over there filming your demo-vids that he might as well live there.
Before I even watch this (Paused), I wanted to say that I've heard about the Johnny A model being quite-good. I would expect some great midrange tones out of that thing. They weren't cheap though. Can you even get these anymore, or has it been discontinued? I love it's look. I've never even heard Johnny A play, but I'd sure love to have his guitar.
Sweet playing Greg, on a killer Guitar. I have a Larry Carlton edition ES335 and am trying to decide weather to put a bigsby on it or just get a Johnny A model. Have you played both? Is there a huge difference? Also curious how long you have been playing? Your tone and tempo are remarkable!
That right there is practically my dream guitar. The Johnny A's are my favorite guitars Gibson has and I really wish I could afford one. I didn't realise they came in black and gold. That is my favorite colors for a Gibson guitar. My dream one would be just like that except with three pickups, coil tapping and a six way switch like on those Jimmy Page black beautys. Also I am going to see Johnny A soon. I am quite excited for that. Maybe he will give me one :D
Nice video greg, Im assuming you know music theory? and to everyone concerned about how he affords all these nice guitars, did it ever occur to you that maybe he acquired them throughout his career as a musician? he didnt just one day buy all of them, its a life time collection
Hey man thanks for your kind words. But sorry.. first Idon't know toomuch about theory, and second I buy and sell professionally.. (But I do work a lot as a musician, making cds, playing for other artists etc. doing gigs...).
Ok, let's get things straight here. Gregor is an incredible bluesplayer who has a collection of great guitars. And most important of all, he has a sense of humour...being German!! That truly is a great archievement. So we should all with great delight call Gregor our guru, inspiration and light in dark times.

The fact that he keeps avoiding the money situation leads me to believe that hes got a rich mommy and daddy to buy him all his shit. Or hes a trust fund baby. I cant see you acualy WORKING for the money for those guits, i mean, look at those perfectly manicured hands
Another answer from Gregor about the money-subject, a few months ago :
Don't you got this E-Mail from Dr. Jumbo Mabove from Nigeria? He offered 1.5000000,- USD - I just replied to his message - and 3 days later I got the Money.... ;-)
Thanks, thats neat. I enjoy the thinlines, 175s, and have a les paul as well. I enjoy exactly this style of music but sometimes delve further in to the realm of rock. Im a big fan of the reaconteurs. Also i take german in school. Hoping mine was easily understood. Great playing!
I have a last questions about OD, I want to buy one, I'm balanced between the okko diablo and the BB preamp..I play like you on fender tubes amp...I have already a ts 808 but i'm not completely happy with...
Man i want a cd or something this shit is so soothing.Makes ya tired but fuck it's amazing

You only have to find a rich woman... and don't tell her she looks fat or ugly - no guitars anymore then... LMAO...yeah right!
