wow what a great film belevie it or not I was writing something like this to a while back but gave up on the project it was going to be a physcological war thriller. You did a great job with the film.
You're getting really shallow Depth of Field for that to be just the stock DVX100. I'm assuming that you used a 35mm lens adapter kit? The shots at the beginning have a DOF I've never seen with the DVX100B.
excellent footage! I have a dvx100b myself and just got premire cs4. What settings did you use for the sequence and for the export? I dont know how to make my footage look this good. Thanks!
Good stuff. I have a DVX-100B and I love it. Most of my shooting is now done with an HMC-150, which all of the best aspects of the DVX into an affordable HD package. Check out my short "The Van Job" if want. It's a crime/action/suspense story.
im an aspiring film maker this camera is amazing this is the second film on youtube that has visually impressed me. check out hallows eve 2 part 1 and 2 he used the ag dvx100b im totally buying this camera before i go off to school! and again good film i watched it while typing this message lol
Awesome man, I am glad you are into it. It is a entry level great camera, and you can get it at a great price....just remember that owning a camera is only ONE piece of the process of filmmaking and that there are many different processes in filmmaking that tie together. But owning a camera is a great start!
It came out great! You really put it together to show the "silent conflict" our soldiers may struggle with. Your film makes a statement about the nightmare they live with if they have PTSD. Nice job!

nothing special. and whats with the dedication? a film with suicide and murder dedicated to the troops.. that doesn't feel right, jus sayin.
tripvids420 1 year ago
@tripvids420 PTS stands for post dramatic stress so obviously the dedication has something to do with that
