Ah finally, someone who agrees with me on ball games.
I also cannot see the entertainment value behind games like Basketball and Football and when I was a teenager, my 2 step-brothers played alot of football and I watched them sometimes but I just couldn't enjoy it.
Its the same when I had to play it as well, I just found it mega boring.
Playing these games is a lot of fun, but watching it on tv is boring.
As a kid, I used to enjoy WWE, soccer and basketball. But I just don't really care for that anymore. At least not that much. It's so fake and sell out now.
On the surface they're all the same shit. If you follow them and know what's going on behind-the-scenes, tension arises. It's like movies. Eventually it comes to a point where we all realize there's only 7 story lines. Similar with sports. However, little tweaks here and there make things more interesting.
The only ball sports game I watch is Basketball. It's the most entertaining, and the fans are the most civil. But the NBA really needs to get some better talent pretty much across the board.
If you don't like them you don't have to. I love football (soccer whatever) but I grew up watching it and get a nervous excitement when my team plays. If you don't have that it's hard to get into a sport.
I used to absolutely HATE sports until I watched NHL hockey. I didn't believe what I was seeing, a sports game that was actually FUN! Now one of my favorite things to do is watch hockey. But I still don't like any other sports.
They aren't the same shit, there are so many different story lines for each game, different players, different performances, and different teams. Every game is different. Growing up in Boston, I follow all 4 major (American) sports (Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Ice Hockey), and I've even become a fan of Soccer (Football in Iceland?). The point is, so many different things can happen. For instance, last night, in a big game, a kicker missed an easy kick and sent my team to the Super Bowl!
@BlazeTheMovieFan Learn about em then! I mean I see no reason for you to be interested in really any of the "Big 4" in the Usa because Iceland doesnt really play any of them...but not even soccer?
@BlazeTheMovieFan New England Patriots vs. New York Giants. I don't know if you're aware but the Boston vs. New York rivalry is the biggest in American pro sports. In 2007, the Patriots had an undefeated season, going 16-0. This had never happened before. They won two more game and made it to the championship. And lost. To the Giants. This will be a rematch...Watch it!
@Aangs112 True. But sports is like reality shows now. Everything is scripted, and it's all about money. The sports themselves are awesome. But when it get's mainstream, that's when I start to find it less interesting and more depressing.
I still pay attention to what's going on in the soccer, wwe and basketball world, but I do not care as much as I did when I was younger.
It's sad, because enjoying a sport gives you a lot.
Uhh...You do know the majority of yt are fans of a certain ball sport

Being locked in a cage my whole life I find it difficult to find enjoyment in sports, specifically ones involving balls.

@blackoutworm Hahaha funny, the opposite is true for me. I played basketball, didn't like it, but nowadays I watch basketball and love it.

I used to know nothing about soccer (football) back in 2001 but the world cup in 2002 made me interested in the sport. True story

@Aangs112 Alright, I'm convinced that the reason why I don't like those games is mainly because I don't know much about them.

@Aangs112 Well, yeah, I do sometimes see the soccer games since my father loves them, but when he watched them I'm not very interested.
