The video is not about Muslims only but the notion about Ethiopia there is a bogus claim that "Ethiopia is an Island of Christianity" by some fanatic Christian groups the video is intended to illustrate the oppressed Muslims in Ethiopia as well as our ongoing problems on famine, malaria, HIV, etc. the video is also criticizing any fanatic elements as they have the ability to limit our victory on starvation, malaria, HIV

Ethiopia is 50% Christian and 50% Muslim...so its not a christian country anymore. Abyssinia was a christian country...not Ethiopia. some statistics say it is 60% Muslim which is why Ethiopia does not go by Christian law anymore and the cross on the flag was removed from the national flag.

i mean when Ethiopia used to be a christian country, that was the time it was truly known as Abyssinia. ethiopia used to be 100% christian until Islam in 610 A.D. and now it is 50-55% Muslim.

It has been known as Ethiopia much longer than that. King Ezana adopted that name Ethiopia in the 4th century.

there prolly isnt any decrease in christianity but there is defintely an increase in Islam because Islam is the fastest growin religion. not until the year 610 A.D. there were almost no Muslims in ethiopia, then they were like 5%, then 10, 20,....well you get the point

not necessarily my friend, the christian population doesnt need to decrease if the muslim population increases because the overall population increases double that. but Islam has been growing rapidly in Ethiopia. just as i said, we used to be less than one percent, now we are over 45.....and actually, there are many ethiopians who convert to Islam....i know some myself.

actually, the Oromo are the largest Muslim population in Ethiopia. but the first to become Muslims were the Tigray in Axum because thats where the Muslims of Mecca first migrated to. but wat is your point ethionz? it still doesnt explain how christians are the majority? there are over 20 different ethnic groups in ethiopia and the only predominant christians are amhara and tigray, the rest are mainly Muslim......

I Am from the city of HARAR, and harar is made up of various ethnic groups
but people who are harari(like myself) are indigenous to harar and we too are another ethnic group that is purely muslim
