Maybe he's just waiting Lexi to grow, maybe he never will come back but will make another forms of art, perhaps he's just taking care of health (he has partial blindness, cant sing like the past days, and had a serious heart trouble). One thing is sure: Bowie is not an ordinary musician, all his work represents his own life and that style of making music gets tiresome at some point of a man life.
