  • Yes...this is what the mouth breathers think is news. Good luck with that. Ray Stevens hasn't been relevant since 1970.

  • So 97% of the world's climate scientists agree CO2 emissions are causing a global warming trend, but the guy who wrote The Streak tells me it doesn't make sense to him so it's a false alarm... works for me!!

  • I love Ray's expression when he says " Justice run here comes a polar bear! "

  • Love it! They need to play this in my school and stop teaching about global warming!

  • The most disturbing series you will ever see

    Search For

    "THE GREAT DISASTERS"

  • It should not be called Global Warming. It is CLIMATE CHANGE. Wyoming is coming out ahead. Warmer winters, less snow, wetter springs. I've lived here all my life and the last time I was snowed in was 1997. The last noteworthy storm in my opinion was back in 1989. Of course, for Wyoming to come out ahead, someone else has got to get it. Thanks for taking it.

  • I should add that I love most of your music, Mr. Stevens but this global warming song ain't gonna fly.

  • @ksjayhawk01 Yes it will because many of us don't believe in Global Warming!

  • 50 degrees in Missouri January 20th. Prediction in the 60s in Missouri January 21st. Normal would be high in the 30s, possibly with snow on the ground. Ray says there's no global warming. Yeah. Right.

  • @ksjayhawk01 Obviously you've never lived in the midwest before. you'll probably be up to you boobs in snow tomorrow. it's always been like that.

  • @kdrapertrucker

Wrong. I've lived in the midwest for 60 years.

  • Did anyone see "Peosi win beauty pageant at the zoo" below the screen in red at 1:57 lmao!

  • You folks are reading way to far into stuff

  • So many youtubers are climate experts. Many people do have a vested interest in propagating the theory. Why do you think it's so politicized? The theory of relativity doesn't get nearly as much attention. Why? It doesn't give someone an excuse to reach into your wallet.

You like to point to "science" as your trump card yet most of you don't truly understand it. Scientific consclusions on many subjects are constantly changing based on the best available information. It's not settled

  • Here, let me help you. The Koch brothers (look em up) financed a scientific study meant to derail the anthropogenic climate change theory once and for all. What was the result, the study proved, in a new way, that climate change is indeed occurring. Who's to blame? Human created carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Put that in your tailpipe and shmoke it.

  • @schermulous It is really hard to convince people the science is correct when folks don't even know what science is or how it works...Many think science is just Liberals making stuff up like Evolution, Promise of stem cells & Anthropogenic Climate Change...That is until they are diagnosed with cancer then they LISTEN TO EVERYTHING THE SCIENTIST HAVE TO SAY!!!

  • Also, I really do like Ray Stevens, and both you and he are entitled to your opinions. I can see where some of the evidence presented in this case are confusing. I'm not even sure there is a whole lot we can do to mitigate our impact. But if you look at the record written in the rocks and the ice sheets, it is very clear that the earth is going through a warming cycle, as it has before. That is the part that is not deniable, not my opinion.

  • I also know that if all the methane hydrates currently trapped in the ocean floor are released, all of this arguing will be put to an end, because none of us will have breath left to argue. I said that the earth goes through normal cycles of warming and cooling, that's how the ice ages happened. One really large volcanic eruption would actually reverse the warming process by screening out the sun for a year or two. Humans do not CAUSE warming, but we (our activities) accelerate it.

  • The science is not refutable. We are making the climate change faster than it ever has in the past. The earth's climate does change naturally, but we are making the cycle go faster. Period. There is no denying the facts. You will see.

  • @roguearoo You realize one average volcano spews more pollution than the human race combined ever has right? Also these climate monitoring machines and meteorologists can't accurately predict weather past 3 days you know. Also you can't even stick to one story, one minute the Earth is warming immensely, the next day it's extreme cooling, so you dumbasses can't even lie correctly.

  • @Nationofhonor Do you realize your comment shows just how UTTERLY IGNORANT YOU ARE??? Humans put 100X the CO2 into the Atmosphere than do all the volcanoes on Earth combined! HINT: READ THE SCIENCE! Climate is different than weather! READ THE SCIENCE! DAMN!! I love to see folks like yourself speak with such arrogance yet be 100% wrong in everything you say! LOL!

  • @roguearoo Also the second you say something is absolute fact in science, you are no longer a scientist, you are a tool. You know that even the fundamental laws of the universe are still being discussed right? You can't just say, "I'm right, it's fact, no more discussing" because only kindergartners do that.

  • The UTTER STUPIDITY on display here says everything we need to know about the Right in America! It would be SAD but these idiots not only embrace UTTER STUPIDITY as virtue they also VOTE! This is the driving reason this country is such bad shape we have roughly half the country that are so under educated & hyper religious the Republican Party has been able to use them as TOOLS! Again, it would be SAD but these people are ruining this country!

  • @Viracocha711 / what's sad is that over 600 scientist have now debunked climate change. Hundreds of memos got out stating that the government told them to only release findings that supported what they were saying about global warming. And you are the ones that are still so gullible as to believe it! All those phony pictures have been explained too. Turns out they had nothing to do with animals starving because of ice melting. Geez! You guys are too, too funny!

  • @Judyp77 600 scientist? LOL! I think you are behind...The total of so-called scientist to sign that worthless petition is now up to 31,000. If you count folks like Mickey Mouse & Goofy who signed the petition as well! What you need to do instead of acting like an under educated redneck FOOL is check who the the so-called "scientist" are, their fields of study, what papers they have published & then see what the number is once your are done.

  • @Viracocha711 ...what a sad fact that you may actually believe the nonsense you spout. Btw, here's a little factoid you can check out that is a part of all this hoopla phony global warming junk. Do research and find out where the Weather Station and all other sources for weather reports each day get their info. Here's a hint; a lot of them get their temps from airports! Do you know how much concrete is at airports? Seriously, do the search, it's a riot!

  • @Judyp77 It's the "Heat Island Effect" REDNECK JUDYp77 & every ground temp model ever done from the IPCC to Richard Muller has taken that into account. You need to catch up on the latest in DENIER LAND The Kock Bros.paid for an "Independent" Investigation" done by Richard Muller a well respected Climate Scientist & Climate Skeptic who after a 2year study on ground temps came up with the EXACT SAME RESULTS! It is a shame you are not smart enough to know how utterly STUPID you really are

  • @Viracocha711 ...And you bought into that hook, line and sinker. Adorable.

  • @Judyp77 Funny, I thought you would discuss the science & how it is wrong? Are you capable of an intellectual conversation of the FACTS? It really is SAD that you deny science just because you lack the capacity to understand it...I guess you think Evolution is a lie as well?

  • Okay, guys. There is NO DEBATE amongst legitimate published climatologists that Global Warming and Climate Change are real and are caused by humans. If you don't believe in Climate Change, you're the one being gullible because you're being tricked by the carbon energy lobbyists. Just think for a second, does anyone gain anything from making up Global Warming? Because plenty of wealthy people with the money to launch an anti-science campaign have a lot to gain from the public not believing in it.

  • @CopelandMeister / not true. There is a lot of debate, we just don't get to hear it unless it is leaked out by a concerned citizen. And dang, algore would not have been able to buy that 9 million dollar house in CA if there were no such thing as global warming! He conned people all over the world and is very wealthy today because of it! It's called 'gettin' even' with the American people for not electing him president!

  • @CopelandMeister / Actually when all that stuff took place I went to all 50 states Sec. of States webpage and got final voting totals. Bush had about 500,000 more than gore. But we don't elect by pop vote honey. We use the Electoral College numbers. If you don't understand how that works I can tell you. Or you can research it yourself. It is the proper way to elect true representation in this country.

  • @Judyp77 You really are chock full of DUMB, huh? Yes, we use Electoral College but to say Bush had more popular vote than Gore is FACTUALLY WRONG!! Just like your view of Climate Change...My guess is you believe in other things with ZERO evidence, correct?

  • @Viracocha711 at least Judyp77 isnt a retard like you. Liberals believe any bullshit they hear on TV

  • @Pontiac65Cat ...amen to that! Yet they accuse us of that. Btw, do you notice the libs are always calling anyone who thinks differently really bad names and curse at us? My mom always said that was a sign of a weak mind; they can't think of rational reasons to disagree with someone so they call them names to discredit them. Sounds like my mom knew some liberals in her day! lol

  • @Viracocha711 ...well sweetie, since I personally went to EVERY state's Sec of State and used a calculator, I know my facts on the algore vote is accurate. You don't believe it because the powers-that-be told you otherwise. Did you check it for yourself? Didn't think so. So it is YOU that believes what others say, not me. I do research. Oh, btw, I believe you are handsome/pretty/funny/tall....all w/out any proof. Soooo.....you were right about that part. :)

  • @Judyp77 Either you are simply LYING or your so-called research skills are that of a 7yr old...The same applies to your lack of understanding when it comes to science.

    George W. Bush 50,456,002

    Al Gore 50,999,897

To save you the enormous amount of time it would take for you to figure out the difference I have done that for you...Al Gore WON the popular vote by 543,895 VOTES.

    Try again redneck Judy!!

  • @CopelandMeister ....YES SOME GAIN MILLIONS! Sorry for shouting but your statement deserved it. Al Gore bought a NINE million dollar home in CA on his profits from his global warming crap! Bought a jet too, btw, that destroys all kinds of ozones! That is, ifyou believe all that junk. Humans cannot destroy what God has made, unless He wants it destroyed! Wake up people!

  • I don't reckon we'll be having much global warming around here until about April.

  • Good old Ray Stevens .... I love it!

  • Yep, and it's an acid, too! Add sulfur to water you get sulfuric acid, add carbon you get carbonic acid.

  • If Carbon Dioxide is a Green House Gas, Then shouldn't opening a Coca-Cola be classified as Environmental Terrorism?

  • I doubt al gore will live in a small home and ground his lear jet and I don't think he makes sure the help recycles ect...?

  • by accidentally posted that twice

  • global warmin fake toyota

     sales hype

  • 2:15

  • golbal warmin in fake sales hype made up by toyota

  • 3:06 lol, cap this

  • well i do not believe in gobal warming, the only threat to the earth is to many people. we have to stop having so many people brought into this world. now i couild put this another way but i think that you get what i mean

  • @rosemarie443 ...do you realize only 10% of the earth is populated with humans? We've got plenty of room.

  • @Judyp77 Is that 10% of the land area or 10% of the total area?

  • @jlocke62 `area

  • I believe in global warming - every time the sun comes up. And every time it goes down, global cooling.

  • @Wowmaxy Exactly haha.

  • @Wowmaxy Doesn't work so well in TX! this summer we had 105F days and 95F nights! Even at midnight it was over 90F! Darn, I wish the desert where you get global cooling at night!!!

  • @FilmerOfBobcats ...yep, and that's why 'they' changed Global Warming to Climate Change. lol How arrogant for us to think humans can change the weather!

  • @Wowmaxy I believe in utterly stupid redneck idiots every time Ise e comments like yours!!

  • I'll admit that we do need to watch ourselve, but not to the idiotic extent that they are talking about.

    Also.

WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT STICKING ITS NOSE IN!? This is more of a people issue, not a national issue. Is GLOBAL warming really a matter of national security? if not, then they need to back off. (stupid socilistic commies...)

  • looks at these chumps, don't know nothin' bout the berkley earth surface temperature study

  • globle warming is a farce

  • global warming is the biggest joke that the government and others have tried to cram down the throats of the citizens. the earth will take care of itself, it has before and it will again.

  • I love how fossil fuel is terrible an dthe electric car and alternate energy is supposed to be the 'solution' to global warming. If it's that simplae why doesn't the gov't just give everyone an electric car instead of taxes? And did they not think maybe the Earth is just warming back up to it's normal temperature as it has done so many times throughout ice ages?

  • there is not such thing as "global warming" it is just something that has been invented to scare the public.

  • sloucho84, Like any situation, we can put in all sorts of safety devices, but there will always be a time when some extreme situation will cause those safety situations to fail.

But yes, it is true that there is a risk with nuclear, and if there were an alternative source of energy, then it would be better not to have it.

But let's think for a moment. Why did the problem in Japan occur? Because for the sake of convenience, the reactors were placed on the coast. So whose fault was it?

  • VinnyMartello. Today I drove along a short stretch of road on which I saw at least 12 pheasants that had been killed by cars. So, let's ban all cars. The fact is, despite a convenient report released a few days ago, that says global warming is taking place, the fact is if there is a change, it is minuscule and mostly natural.

The reason politicians are sop keen on the subject, is that it is a good way to raise taxes, or personal wealth.

  • I know that to be a fact. That's why I mock the very subject of Global warming.

  • Left handed hammer hahaha

  • @Bama1377 yes the left hammer goes along with the left handed crowbar. i seem to have both LOL

  • Think of it this way... When the average car accelerates at 5m/s squared, it's energy is about 5000 Newtons - a considerable ammount of energy. The effect on the earth is a relative acceleration of roughly .0000000000000000000001 meters per second squared. Multiply that by a billion and you still don't get much. Smae thing with the Carbon Craze. Our contribution to climate change is about the same as stealing a few truck loads of potatos from Idaho.

  • @VinnyMartello As if climate change is the only/gravest environmental issue...

  • faetrn, I didn't say windmills were wrong, I was referring to some who do say that. I don't know about in the USA, but here in the UK we have people who say we must use alternative forms of power generation, and then when we suggest alternatives, such as nuclear - perfectly safe, tidal - affects the ecology, windmills - unsightly, expensive, kills sea birds, we are told they can't be used.

Maybe we can generate power from all the 'global warming', 'climate change,' supporters hot air.

  • @pitielbasani1 Windmills kill more birds than the average oil refinery.

  • @pitielbasani1 "nuclear - perfectly safe"... tell that to japan.

  • @sloucho84 By the way, in case there is some misunderstanding, I do not believe in global warming. It's a con to get more taxes out of us. Our fuel bills here in the UK are artificially high because there is an element added as a 'green tax.'

  • I just love this song. maybe it can explain on how the people of the USA have been taken

  • Anyone care to explain why 97-98% of climate scientists believe in the concept of Anthropogenic Climate Change? How come on average only half the population holds this same view? Because people are fundamentally stupid, the same people who believe in a JFK conspiracy, man not landing on the moon and America invading Irap solely for oil.

  • @fabiogrossodived Did you know that 78% of statistics are made up on the spot?

  • @fabiogrossodived Because climate scientists are government stooges.

  • if you have nothing else to do go listen to Merle Haggard-The Fightin side of Me that explains how i feel about the USA.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that Ray has a very good out look on the entire global warming crap

  • Let us not forget the Gore family and all their accomplishments.....

Uhhhh........Oh yeah, Tipper Gore got the "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics" label on all my favorite albums. Al Gore has huge sums invested in Haliburton, which can be classified under accomplishments if you count war-profiteering, although didn't I hear something about "carbon pollution" being to blame? Well, as far as carbon emissions go, big oil is second only to factory-farming. Al and Tipper are not vegetarians either.

  • Ray Stevens is my hero.

  • love this video, it tells you everything that you need to know about global warming. LOLOOLOL

  • This is brilliant! Next time I need open-heart surgery, or want to have a plane piloted, I'll ignore what the so-called "experts" say if it's different from what Rush and such recommend.

What's the opinion of 95% of the people who've worked hard to study a discipline against guys who have loud voices?`

  • @ObviousSockPuppet231 Those so called experts, who BTW do not make up 95% of climate experts, used fake data and made up facts.

  • Not very funny. Please watch "the big picture" on free Hulu TV. Gobal warming is real, several scientist agree and use Nasa images to prove their point,

  • @11GoldenHeart11 Several scientists have been bribed and pressured into saying the agree. Nasa has been forced to admit that throuout history CO2 has always risen after tempurature has risen which means it could not possibly be the cause. Not to mention tempurature has been constintly changing through-out history (ever heard of the midevil warm period?). You could argue that the ice caps are melting, but why do you think they're also melting on Mars and Saturn? The obvious answer is the sun.

  • @186mjn yes friend, it can be said for both sides, whats disturbing is when all trees die, they re-release their CO2 back into the atmosphere, it never goes away, whether you believe in global warming or not, we dont have to be wasteful. There are green fuels being developed, vacuum power cars, steam power, we dont need oil or coal. As caretakers of the Earth, we are responsible for the health and welfare of all earths creatures & resources for all generations on Earth, All My Relations..

  • @11GoldenHeart11 From the ground where trees die new plants grow. CO2 only makes up 0.28% of greenhouse gases. Water vapour makes up 95%. With the amount of steam it would take to give us the power fossil fuels does we may actually create enough greenhouse gases to affect the tempurate. I agree that we shouldn't be wastefull. I know there are cleaner ways of producing power. I agree that we are the caretakers of this Earth. BUT the theory of man-made global warming is a scam.

  • @186mjn to help you a little more look at all the global warming events that occurred before humans were a primary species. For anyone who wishes not to look it up it is more simply put as warming and cooling of the globe. There was a global warming before and after each of the ice ages.

  • Please check out the Rock Anthem SAVE PLANET EARTH by TOKYO ROSE. Global Warming is our Warning

  • THIS IS SO FUCKING GAY

  • @notanoob3000 you're SO F******** G**

  • watch David Mitchell's Soapbox on the Burden of Proof.

  • Pelosi wins beauty contest at the zoo.. hahahahahaha

  • I take the Descarte approach and use methodological skepticism with Globlal Warming in this regard: if any scientist tells you that what he has discoverd is right, and that no one has the right ti question it, QUESTION IT, BIG TIME! There's more there than what they claim on the surface, normally some personal agenda. I am not one for following dogma in either science or religion, and would rather be involved with something that says to put what is said to the test before you buy into it.

  • @paladin313 If any scientist tells you that what he has discovered is right, and that no one has the right to question it, then that man isn't a scientist. That's not how science works, jackass.

  • @ceddan He isn't? Could have fooled me the way the left wing media tries to cram it down my throat that he's a scientist. Oh, and what's with the name-calling? I never did that do you or anyone else. You act like I know nothing about science, but you don't know me from Adam, so that ignorant statement over what species I belong to was not very welcome. It really taints for me what you said, and makes it hard for me to take you seriously.

  • @paladin313 you sound pretty crazy, dawg

  • Aaaaaay FRICKIN' men !!!!!

  • we are not responsable for global warming, its just a tax collection scam.

  • I'm from Oklahoma, and I want to know where global warming was last winter when it was 30 below 0? Try feeding cows and chopping ice in that crap, then tell me about global warming.

  • @smithrgreen I know what you mean, been therr done that. you take care

  • Yeeeha! Get it on and go green... Kill a polar bear a day... The poor critters aint got nowhere to go anyhow.

  • Is this supposed to be funny?

  • @jrobel0791 It's Hilarious, because it's so true!

  • @StephenRCranford Not really.

  • @jrobel0791 Was your comment supposed to be funny?

  • @PeeboTyson No, my question was not meant to be funny. Why do you ask?

  • "Pelosi wins Beauty contest at the Zoo..."

    LOL

  • To all those who insulted me with personal E-mails, it seems you missed my point. I was implying that weather extremes have occurred since the Earth was formed. THEY HAPPEN NATURALLY! If you really feel that man is the problem, turn off your computer to save energy, then stop breathing to cut down on CO2 emissions. Unless you live in a cave and walk everywhere you have no right to chastise anyone on how they live.

  • global warming dosen't exist i mean study histroy its just a cycle i mean we had the ice age 2 where this place was like antartica and then it warmed up and froze and thawed again it happens there just tryin 2 scare money off people like they did with the suposed end of the word a little while back when the world was suposed 2 end at 5 oclock eastern time

  • @MordisHowell Ice Age 2 is a movie and holds no scientific value

  • @batmansthebomb there was a second ice age that or my teachers wrong

  • IT"S A CYCLE!!! Every few decades the earth goes through periods of extremes. Blaming it on man doesn't make sense. What created the dust bowl era, the ice age, or the subsequent melt-down? They were all natural occurances. People need to realize that you can't go back only 40 years for data and speak in terms of what's "normal".

  • @tabbygail7 The Dust bowl was created by farming the same land year after year without crop rotation.... idiot.

  • @tabbygail7 lol cocaine's one helluva drug. From wikipedia: "[The Dust Bowl] was caused by severe drought coupled with decades of extensive farming without crop rotation, fallow fields, cover crops or other techniques to prevent wind erosion." And those changes you're talking about happen over millions of years, not decades like we are currently seeing, unless of course you believe the earth is 4,000 years old.

  • Hey y'all, it's not really "Global Warming," but climate change, which is why we did get so much snowfall this past winter, all 50 states as someone else said. 97% of scientists agree that climate change is real and should be addressed. The other 3% are probably paid for by conservatives and Fox News. It's unfortunate that Science now is up for debate and everything has to be political. This shouldn't be a political issue, it's about human survival. Y'all stay blessed, I'll pray for you.

  • @bobbylibby there is not global warming, and the climate has always changed that is the way of mother earth "for a better name" change is the way of the world. i do not think that we should be spending so much money on a stupid idea. and i do not think that we need to spend money on a substitute for gasoline,

  • @rosemarie443 I don't understand why people believe it's a waste. So what if we spend money creating wind farms, alternative fuels, cut down on CO2 emissions. Because if it turns of global warming is a myth, we will still be self sufficient, requiring no foreign oil, and the over health of our people will increase. So please explain to me why it is a stupid idea.

  • @batmansthebomb It is not a waste to try to develop alternative energy sources and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. But what is wasteful is high taxes (i.e. Cap & Trade) on companies that use oil or coal for their energy. The problem is that it destroys the majority of our economy, putting families out of work, reducing the efficiency of industries before they are capable of switching to alternative energy. Wasting tax dollars on subsidies also destroys our economy. If it is that good

  • @batmansthebomb let the free market produce it. The problem is that, relatively, oil or coal to produce energy is cheap. The climate change people can't make alternative energy sources cheaper so they want to make fossil fuel sources more expensive. Obama even said before he was elected that his cap & trade program would by necessity make electricity prices skyrocket. But we were so stupid, we elected him anyway

  • @batmansthebomb we have enough gas and oil to be self sufficient, and there is no global warming, this is only a smoke to make you people believe that the money we are spending on green crap is right. we should stop all funding to wind farms which are a joke, and stop funding to ethonl and let out country drill for oil, we have enough oil to support us for about a 100 years, and maybe by them they can get it straight. the overall health of the people does not involve green energy. that is a myth

  • @rosemarie443 You bet your sweet ass green energy has everything to do with the over health of the people. Combustion of fossil fuels produce air pollutants, such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, volatile organic compounds and heavy metals. In other words, the things that cause acid rain to spoil our soils growing our crops. The same crops that are used to make your Mcdonalds hamburgers and fries.

  • @batmansthebomb NO it does not, green energy has nothing to do with our health, and there should be no such rip of called green energy.the air pollutants tha is produced is not very much at all, we do not have acid rain here. you must wrap you head in alumium to keep out gama rays.

  • @rosemarie443 Hey, you used this same bullshit on another uploaded video,Vietnam War,remember?..." you must wrap you head in alumium" ...nice soundbite.

  • @TheGambitsam well do you really wrap your head in alumium??

  • Comment removed

  • @bobbylibby Sorry for your lack of education regarding science but science has always been open for debate. That is what makes it science. Very few things in science are completely established with no room for debate. When they are not debatable, it is called a "Law of Science". Perhaps you have heard of some of them such as the Law of Gravity? Everything is and should be open for debate as scientists are not perfect. They make mistakes and have biases. Now some r being pressured to agree

  • most scientists dont agree, the left only makes seem so,if you been paying attention you would have seen the fabrications coming to light by the my iq is i80 high school and college

  • So true :P

  • DAMN! Ray should run for President. OMA!

  • David did you check the weather where it is winter?? record cold!

  • I like Ray Stevens songs they are pretty funny and he's a talented guy. I don't however, agree with his politics. I liked it better when he was just a comedian and not a politician.

  • hows the weather today thoughout the midwest ray?

  • @davidallenroth Its hot but its suppose to be in the summer isnt it ?

  • @Ocala92RTTT You're right, this is a cool summer. Only the hottest recorded summer in years, on Saturday we will BREAK the record for over 100 degree weather. And it's predicted that it will get hotter. Geeeee..... Another thing- in the middle of a large city, it is a minimum of 5 degrees hotter than out farther towards the country. Geee........ Shall I go on?

  • @txfam3 Gee nothing you metioned matters so gee please use facts gee .

  • Comment removed

  • @rosemarie443 We also broke records this past winter those facts also !

  • @txfam3 you are have cool weather it got up to 110 where i live. and if it gets much hotter the corn is going to burn. might even pop the corn on the ears. but that does not mean that we are having global warming, this is just the kind of weather we usually have

  • Here's the thing boys and girls the planet goes in cycles it's been that way since the beginning, all the so called research is biased to one agenda (the making of money) and only goes back 200 years, and well the majority of the public is just to stupid to wake up and realize the truth

  • Talk to me in a couple more years Ray... If you can't understand the issue, maybe don't make songs about it. Also, no polar bears at the South Pole. 2011---so far one of of the warmest years on record. I suppose that record highs and record lows don't equal "global warming" in your book, but climate change is happening.

  • There's another great global warming song by the Minnesotans for Global Warming -- M4GW.

    search M4GW.

  • I'm so glad there's no global warming. Otherwise, I'd be really concerned about this extreme weather.

  • @lt1bird348 You mean like the 50 states that had snow on the ground this past winter ? By the way thats never happen since keeping track of weather . Yep its hot out get a clue its SUMMER ! its suppose to be hot !

  • True @jdg241, dozens of international science organisations who say global warming is real. One the other side, there are thousands of reputable scientists who show that global warming is a natural event, but is not as these groups suggest.

Isn't it interesting how those who know their pet theme is weak have to resort to insults and ridicule. The fact is, that in order to keep their grants coming, many have to support the unsupportable. There is little honesty in science today.

  • So what field of science has Ray Stevens studied in? What, he hasn't, what a surprise.

  • Once the public figures out that the climate-change hoax has been disproven, the eco-nuts will just make up the next phony emergency, as they've been doing for the last 60 years. Their real goal is to force us all back to the Amish way of life.

  • @jdg241 There are dozens of international science organizations that say global warming is real. To say all of them are in on this giant hoax (and it would be the world's biggest hoax) is quite retarded.

  • they need to make more electric cars are invent the water machine are ban cars and go back to the simpler times and ride horses

  • @yoyotrent1

Sorry, you can't have horses. They pollute the atmosphere. Electric cars need power to charge the batteries, which means more carbon monoxide produced by power stations. Anyone see the inconsistency of the politically correct?

  • ice core samples from the north pole that are in essence, fossilized air. the ice core samples show that since the industrial revolution, there an increasing amount of carbon in the air and global temperatures are correspondingly get hotter. a piece of the Antarctic ice shelf the size of Rhode island has broken off, so shouldn't we increase funding to clean alternative sources of energy such as wind, solar, geothermal ext cetera? the future of our planet is at stake!

  • idiots. really...you are idiots

  • TheExcalibar makes a comment that I agree with. That comment is, "Our hydrocarbon dependence is a contributing factor to the global climate change." This is a refreshing statement from someone who is obviously proglobal warming. A contributory factor. Of course our activities have an effect, but it is not the cause. There is a huge difference.

Another point, if fossil fuel use is banned, and nuclear is outlawed, and windmills are wrong. Where are we to get our power from?

  • @pitielbasani1 Why are windmills wrong? o.O

  • @faetrn They aren't wrong (unless you live next to one) but they require a huge amount of conventional backup. Scottish Power says that for every 30 Gigawatts of wind generated you need 25 Gigawatts of conventional backup - that's Coal, Gas, Nuclear or Hydro. A similar statement was made before a House Of Commons enquiry by EON which said the backup figure was 80%.

  • @lewisner Ah. So...."backup" is needed to keep the thing running? Eh...I don't get it, sorry.

  • @faetrn Well you can't guarantee wind all the time. Also if the wind is above a certain speed (I think 56MPH) the turbine has to shut down for safety reasons - obviously if you had a 150MPH wind it would be like a jet engine. So you need a conventional power station on what is known as "spin up" ready to be switched into the grid, and the conventional wisdom is you need 80% backup. IE if all turbines were at max you still 80% conventional power ready to step in.

  • wow..I'm a conservative just like you, but unlike you and most ignorant conservatives I'm a geologist and you tell me if you do not think burning billions of fossil fuels around the clock will not change the climate? Our hydrocarbon dependence is a contributing factor to the global climate change. So instead of making song about what you perceive has a hype perhaps you should do your research first, that is if you really care about our country. Try singing about us growing energy independent.
