no sub sounds better in a seald box, vented is for best bass, better than ported as well, if u want ur head 2 vibrate and shatter ur windows i recomend a vented box,

1question tho, i got da same sub but it doesnt bounce that far, how do u make it bounce

you have to feed them lots of power. They work best in a sealed box. They sound good outside but absolutely rediculous in the car...or in the house says my neighbor. u the first person on here that set these woofers up right

its really your opinion & the type of music you listen to. Sealed is better for rock and fast kick drum notes BUT is definitely capable of Low notes like drops in Hip Hop music. Ported seems to Perform Low notes better (in most cases).
