Oh goodness, this is definitely something I can relate to. My mom passed away last month from a 2 year battle with cancer, and even though I know she's in a better place, she fought a tough battle, and I fought alongside her. People really need to learn to appreciate what they got before it's gone. Anyways, I love this routine, and Travis!

Anyone who has ever lost a loved one to cancer knows how difficult the struggle is, knowing his/her spirit still soars within, deep within the painful, crumbling shell that it is their body, wracked with terminal illness.

Sometimes we saw, even to the end, my mother's laughter and joy, behind her eyes, in her mind, where she could still run and sing and ride horses and chase fireflies with us kids.

This performance was a perfect testament to the beauty within that struggle. I cried. From JOY.

This dance is so near to my heart. My brother became ill in 2005 and no one knew the cause for 5 long and painful years. He nearly died so many times that I cannot count. I could so easily relate I cry every time I watch this. So many times I wish when I was sitting at his side when I could just "Fix Him" ... So major congradulations to Robert - who is slightly perfect :)
