  • Hooah! Mr. Potterfield just helped me fix a loose ejector rod on my S&W Model 60-15! I ...grew some... and tried it myself. Used a tiny bit of Blue Loctite, tightened it up.

All I need to do is go shoot it extensively at the range to be sure it is properly tightened. But I am sure it should work now. No more locked up actions, "...and that's the way it is."

  • I hate Larry Potterfield! He makes every gunsmith job look easy. By easy I mean if you have all the tools and know how. Guys like Bob Villa with it.

  • @edd217 i dont think anyone but larry owns this stuff hahah

  • Larry......can I come and work for you.

  • That was smart, thanks Larry

  • Thanx for sharing the knowledge Larry.

  • : )

  • Great job Larry !!!

    :)

  • Very nice if you have a drill press, a dial indicator, vice grip, etc. I think it would just be easier for most to simply replace the rod.

  • @JBSauce Unless you have an old S&W like me and they no longer have a spare ejector rod :/ I've been looking for a way to get my straightened and this video really helps. The last video Midway USA did used a drill press which I don't have access too.

  • @Jrhoney Really? I thought they would have one...well, I guess this is really relevant for you then!

  • @Jrhoney Harbore Freight Sells em Chepa, About' 75 - 89 Bucks...

  • @JBSauce He didn't say you could fix it with a rock and some duct tape.
