Now the snow surfing... reminded me of back in 77 when I had my Chevy blazer and of coarse it had the lift the tires the supper engine.. one day we were on our way up to A-Basin to do some skiing and we were following a plow.. I got board and pulled off into the soft powder and was doing fine having a blast shooting roster tails of snow 14 ft into the air when we came to a stop... I had a blast my friends wished I had just stayed on the road... we dug out with our skis... ha ha ha!
Well Corny... looks like your going to find out how its done... your hot wire is a good idea just set it up on solar back up.. the thing is these guys like to itch... they will rub up on anything they can come spring to work out the hair... also don't think that you will have the same temperament as they age keep safe bro... I had a calf a few weeks back and just today castrated my bull calf his name is Rib eye don't get too attached big fella there food animals.. LOL!!!
i have hot wire up... they can smell it and have been bit by it aswell so im not to worried about fences.. unless the power goes out, but thier happy and have a gourmet diet, so i doubt they will want to go to far away from the bunk.
i will be adding 2 more cows in january. so i guess you could say im turning into a rancher..
Nice critters! There's nothing like some new stock coming off the trailer and running around in your pasture for the first time. My Scottish Highland cow had a calf yesterday morning; my third so far, and all heifers!
big babies right now.. got them on a gormet diet.. so thier pretty friendly.. but when the cows go into heat.. lookout cause you might go for a ride..
good lord... and this wasn't even this winter.
