Just back from the San Juans over the Labor Day weekend. What beautiful country.

Non of the trails seem to have many obstacles with the exception of Poughkeepsie Gulch.

Experienced a blow out on my brand new 33"BFG's on a seldom used shelf road. Sharp rock thru the sidewall. OUCH!

Bummer, man, sorry. I haven't done Poughkeepsie due to being afraid of body damage! I pretty much do the 'moderates.'

Can't make it this time but would like to do it some other time. We may go in Sept. for the foliage so maybe a repeat trip for you??

I wish I could come up....great run across California pass...view the aqua lake below if you are going up from Silverton....but I'm sure you've been there before.

I've done it once and it was snowy so there wasn't much sight seeing! LOL I am going to take my time this trip!
