This program foreshadowed quite a bit about their career. They are terrific short program skaters, but cannot seem to bring that same excitement to the long. We've seen them do some phenomenal short programs, such as the 2006 Olympics and the 2008 Worlds, then look so ordinary and clumsy in the long. Petrova and Tikhonov were the same way. Very confusing.
