And this movie was not made with "ppl's money". Star Wreck was shot in an apartment, in front of a home-made blu-screen, and the dialogue was recorded in a closet. They don't make movies just to get money. They are not Americans.

And I agree, I was a bit disappointed when they said Iron Sky will be more comedic than a serious movie. But I was merely trying to be a white knight here and defend their honor or something. @ShoguntheKiller If you noticed, the pretty well known actor Udo Kier is in the movie Iron sky. I doubt he would star in some low budget movie. And you can obviously see the difference when comparing the graphics and what not in both movies, and how they were shot. Listen to what user Bloody0Pirate. He is 100% accurate.

i got it on dvd, the quality wasn't that good, it didnt translate to my giant HD tv very well. the novelty of Star Wreck made it still worth the price and I recommend it, especially ST and B5 fans would enjoy it. The best space battles better than in either TV show or movies. That was one of the best space battles ever. and the forever memorable: "FUUUUUUUKOOOOOOVVVVV!"

That's not exactly a huge surprise seeing that it was an independent production to begin with :)

It was originally known mainly by "cult followers", but has received some rather good ratings in IMDB - considering the background (created using consumer-grade equipment, etc.) ... you could easily spend 1½h much worse wathcing some "real" Hollywood movies of the time.
