I wanted to read the qur'an but when i went to the store to buy a copy there were several different ones and i know that people have taken unicorns out of bible, how do i know what qur'an to read? (i only read the version of the bible with the unicorns still in it)

The Koran: With Parallel Arabic Text (Penguin Classics) by N.J Dawood as a very readable copy. I recommend the Yusuf Ali version as as a parallel its the most used english version in the world. I own 6 versions two from Saudi Arabia. I really like the Moblie Qur'an for my hacked iPhone as it has the Arabic, English, Phonetic Arabic using English letters and the audio read in Arabic. I use it to debate Muslims. The Skeptics Annotated Quran Online is great.

Yes,.... 72 in Arabic means like when we say there are hundreds of stars in the sky. It could mean many but in this case 72 means unlimited. Yes moderate Muslims have no clue about the horrors in there holy book they're really shocked when I show them. But do to there conditioning they will defend it to the end murder, genocide, antisemitism, torture,

slavery. Its really sad because if raised in this environment even moderates object to human rights and freedom of speech.

BTW Judaism was created 3 millenias ago which they wrote the Tora wherein lie almost all the stories that you find in the Bible, the Christian believe was created 2 millenia ago and only one millenia did they actually wrote the Bible (they actually just did Copy-paste only with some new stuff: Jesus being the messiah etc.) and then the Islam came and copy-pasted the Bible and then changed a couple of things.
