  • i watched a video about cannabis being dangerous on the roads, how..? if anything it makes you more safer if you have actually done it.. 3000 people on the roads die from alcohol related deaths in the uk per year, how many from cannabis.. -3000 we save lifes bitches!

  • True story-

A drunk went right past a stop sign and got into an accident.

A stoner waited for the stop sign to turn green.

  • alcohol makes me feel sick the next day, marijuana not... so i want to smoke taxed weed and no taxed alcohol!

  • make prohibition ilegal everybody put what they want in their body

  • i live in the U.s and there just so fucking retarted they just dont get it..

  • All the logical arguments have been made. The facts of the matter are that Politicians have already known all of the sensible things that are being said. They have had the access to this information before we knew about it and they have chosen big business over the rights and benefit of the people. It is not about logic with them; It is about money and power and that has always been what it's been about.

  • But since we live in a republic, if the people make a big deal about Marijuana prohibition, and vote toward politians who pretend to share our logic, then they will give into our demands to legalizing Marijuana.

  • where is gruff the crime dog when you need him..omg what am i saying .. it must be that dam reefer madness that got into me..well.. off to kill my brother i go :)

  • The simple fact is that prohibition of any substance does not work. You can't make something disapear just by making a law. I could tell you a few streets where all you have to do is yell the drug you want out your window and within 5 minutes someone will deliver it to your car. Prohibition doesn't solve any problems, it only creates more.

  • So many people are missing the point. So what if a drug is harmful? Many things you encounter every day are harmful. If they legalize drugs (any drug), does that mean you're going to run out and immediately start taking it because it's illegal? No, and the same goes for MANY citizens.

Those who choose to do it should do it responsibly (i.e. not drinking and driving). However, what right does anyone have to tell me what I can or cannot put into my body? It's my body, not the government's.

  • @john41262 because it's legal*** obviously.

  • alcohol then, crack cocaine, meth, and heroin now! your argument is retarded.

why arent you protesting all the law suits against big tobacco? thats a "weed" too isnt it?

  • Prohibition does not work, period, end of story. If it worked I would be all for it, but it doesn't work. Heroin is a horrible drug, no one should ever do it, but keeping it completly illegal creates more problems and doesn't solve any. By making addicts buy it on the street you ensure that there will always be a thriving illegal market for it which will allow people who aren't yet addicted to it to try it.

  • pt 2: If the government were to allow addicts to buy it legally the illegal market would effectivly be destroyed and it would be extremely difficult for someone new to get it. That along with offering addicts treatment instead of jail is the only way to reduce the harm caused by drugs. This is what the dutch are doing right now, and it's working, the number of people addicted to heroin has dropped substancially.

  • pt 3: Prohibition is a failed policy and it's time for a new aproach. Marijuana is mostly harmless and completly legalizing it would have no negative effects, it would simply allow otherwise law abiding citizins to get on with their lives . As for other drugs, governmental controll would ensure that only addicts had access to them while the general population did not.

  • pt4: Addiction is a disease and treating it as a criminal problem only makes it worse. Addicts need treatment, and if that doesn't work then they are going to find a way to get their drugs. At least if the government were to provide addicts with drugs, there would be no illegal market, no funding for crime, no new addicts.

i'm sick of counterproductive drug laws i'm sick of otherwise rational people being unable to see that throwing innocent and/ or sick people in jail is the real crime.

  • @2204Alpha cigarettes also have almost 4000 synthetic, addictive chemicals.

The tobacco itself isnt that harmful. its the shit that the tobacco companies put it in!

  • You'd think after the emergence of organized crime (large scale) in America people would realize prohibition does more harm than good. I've never tried weed but if I do, who is to say I can't? As long as I'm not causing an inconvenience to anyone or infringing upon their rights it shouldn't matter what I do. Only reason its illegal is bc of an early smear campaign on hemp by some fat cat lumber tycoon he didn't care about peoples health just lining his own pockets.

  • The ONLY downside to marijuana is the fact that you're inhaling heated smoke into your lungs. Heated smoke from anything causes damage to your lungs. Plus, if you wanted to save your lungs they do have these things called marinol and baked goods.

It's time to wake up and legalize this god given plant...i mean, sometimes i feel like we're just pissing god off for not utilizing what he gave us.

  • Prohibition didn't work for alcohol, we've seen proof of that and how can you explain the Netherlands have one of the lowest percentage of pot smokers even if its legal there? It is also proven to promote cell growth and Im a pot smoker so, check your facts next time... Too dumb to realize it? what? Shit spoon fed to you by the medias and government?

If you like living in denial then... go for it

    Have a nice day sir...

  • You would be surprised who uses pot and how it really acts on people. It dose not do anything that alchohol dose.

  • Comment removed

  • WTF????? I never said your making me mad. Maybe posting to some one else???

  • Alcohol deteriorates your liver and also "kills brain cells". Cigarettes have how many different toxins? They also destroy your lungs. While yes, marijuana is by no means healthy, when was the last time you saw someone beat cancer while smoking cigarettes?

  • I didn't realize there where there where still people in America that think it kills brain cells.

Come on you fucking retard, ever heard of the Rhesus monkey?...

  • Can you prove that? No you can't. Science has shown it does not kill brain cells, It doesn't cause cancer and cannabinoids have even proven to kill tumor cells. Also people can be stupid before they smoked marijuana. They can also be lazy. So do some research before you say whats good for the public.

  • I have never even tried marijuana but i have some friends that smoke it. I would not be apposed to them making it legal if they restrict it to adults only, I think 18 should be the drinking age to, if you are old enough to fight and die for your country you are old enough to drink.

  • this video summarizes the most important reasons for legalisation in a very good way. every king/president/politician/... should see it!

  • marijuana is not a drug i have done th research ist just a plant it just grows that way drugs are altared you fuckin dick

  • No - Drugs are chemicals that change the way your body works.

Drug doesn't mean something is bad, Coffee isn't bad.

marijuana is a drug - but it's NOT harmful.

  • Good Point...

I agree that marijuana isn't a harmful drug, however I disagree with you about coffee. People have overdosed and died from too much caffeine. Yet, no one has ever died from marijuana use. At least, not in 10,000 years of documented use.

  • i never said that coffee was a safe drug, i said it wasn't bad - meaning that it doesn't damage your body if taken appropriately.

And yes, no one has ever died from marijuana use.

  • I understood what you meant and I agreed with you. However, it seemed like you were staying that marijuana isn't any worse than coffee, and I went one step further by saying that in fact coffee is worse, that's all.

  • Fair enough :p

  • their is no such thing as a drug that does'nt do SOME harm however marijuana is at the bottom of the list.

  • The government is the only one to blame, they started the mafia, they started the miami cartel, and this whole weed thing too.

  • 973-409-3274 Legalize it!!!! need a million votes! call and vote to end an endless/ pointless war on weed. --------in the usa

  • i checked it out and called, do you know if there is a call limit?

  • no ... i dont think so. but keep it honest 1 vote per person!

  • just called it yay?

  • too late the deadline was the 5th

  • well said if only the retards that run the usa could think that way. or should i say could think for them selves and for the good of the people and not for the good of the pharmasudical companies' wallet. unbelieveable how over 500 000 ppl in the us alone die from tabaco yet they receive government subsidies. NOBODY has ever die from marijuana use alone EVER! yet not legal wtf is that? it is never gonna be legalized because growing your own medication doesnt put money in their pockets.

  • Awesome video man

  • People might not know this, but the same thing happen when Canada banned cigerattes. And when Canada ended the ban, the smuggling, crimes, shottings stopped.

  • Correction: shootings

  • grammar nazi LOL

  • Two kids in our town have passed out in puddles of their own puke so far this year. Please give America a safer intoxicant .

  • Good stuff. Thanks for finally stating the truth.

  • so........i hope i see the day when i am no longer persecuted for smoking a plant that is mostly harmless when put into comparrison with tobacco and alcohol.i wouldnt need atimulus if i didn t have to pay 3 grand and 11-29 probation plus gas and missed work for six seeds in the floor! i thank the government for the aggrevation.....and the mark on my record for the rest of my life.

  • history repeats itself

now if our government could get it's head out of it's ass, maybe they could see this.

  • Why don't more people know about the MPP and their videos? Please, lets spread the word about these informative shows and help get the truth about cannabis brought to everyone's attention. We can all put an end to the propaganda "Drug-Free America" shoves down our throats on a daily basis, and eventually, we can help decriminalize marijuana once and for all.

  • I LOVE MPP

  • Not all people are affiliated to gangs that sell Grass and not all "dealers" are irresponsible and/or violent criminals. You could say the same thing about anyone... metal workers could be violent people because they handle tools all day that could be used to injure people. Doctors could intentionally try to cause illnesses in order to intentionally treat them for profit. Lawyers & politicians could adjust laws in order to launder money.

  • I actually am job hunting and would seriously consider work in pot smuggling or selling, and I'm not a bad guy. The economy sucks, so why not go with the gold? Maybe if politicians smoked this stuff regularly there wouldn't be so much war. Makes you mellow and happy, not violent or irrational.

I just don't get why so many people prefer alcohol over marijuana. Booze sucks in comparison. Tastes horrible, makes you incompetent, can't drive while drunk... Pot doesn't interfere with everyday life.

  • there is no money in it... especially if your the middle man- just like any other business.

  • fuck ya empbac knows his shit! booze and money the root to all evil ! if im suppose to live a clean respectable life ill smoke weed and be kind to all ! give me booze might as well hand over a loaded revolver

  • i wish there were more people like you and i. i would rather have stoners wandering around than drunks! makingg this shit legal now would save our economy!! obama needs to pull his head out of his ass!

  • @empbac its people like you we need to apply long prison sentences to.

  • @mrarches

Aw, did I insult your alky-hol? Got a soft spot? You must, to be responding to comments a year old. Of course delusional people want free-thinking people in jail. It's always been that way -- why would I expect anything else? Fortunately, we see a strong positive trend in human rights and the use of logic as a meme in society. Good luck to you in your dead-end crusade.

  • @empbac Amen.

I can Weed doesnt impare you to drive like alchohol.

doesnt make you go home and beat your wife and kids.

I think thats the problem. if you notice every congressmen that has smoked pot in the last year is for legalization. but the alchohol comsuming congressmen are being paid big dollars by the alchohol adminstration to stomp maryijuana to ground.

  • @lawlmann its not the alcohol administrations (well it is in part) buts its the pharmaceuticals! HEMP is actually BENEFICIAL to the body and agriculture and INDUSTRY. so much so that tylenol or aspirin or disease would practically never exist if prohibition had never happened. hemp has been around MUCH longer than "government" so who are they to tell me what i can and CANT grow out of the ground with seeds(from the GROUND) who the FUCK do they think they are??

  • @LDB37 agreed. but the alcohol companies dont want cannabis legal any more the big pharma.

  • are you excited about going to work tomorrow?

If you are, don't watch my video

but if you're not, then watch my video on my page

  • I've watched many of these vids and they've all had a lot of great points. BUT, there is one thing in this vid that I didn't agree with.

(Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), but those so-called "Bootleggers", were manufacturing and distributing 'Moonshine', AKA 'Corn-Liquor' AKA 'Fire Water' AKA "190+ proof alcohol. I highly doubt that these "bootleggers" were companies manufacturing name-brand ale's underground.

Maybe it wasn't the best terminology to use. Either way, smoke herb, period.

  • I merely was stating that against the name, "bootlegger". I guess in some way within my twisted head, it seems a little weird. Just like us marijuana users don't like to be looked on as criminals, I would imagine that those legitimate businesses that made legalized alcohol to be called 'bootleggers' when that term has been widely stereotyped. Hopefully you all understand the point I'm trying to make.

  • Some way, a bit awkward way, this gives hope. I guess we will suffer a depression, coming year. Maybe new tax paying source, and the enormous costs spent on the Cannabis war will make Obama think.

    Time will learn us.

  • good vid

  • Great video!!

  • Marijuana Two-Minute Truths

  • also hemp could threaten the fabric, paper and oil industry. it is easy to grow and has a very high yield rate.

  • the D.E.A spends 2 billion dollars a year on "the war on drugs".they have a fleet of planes and choppers scouring for weed fields and grow houses if we legalized it so many people would be out of jobs it will never happen

  • oh well, they'll just have to go out and find proper jobs.

  • I agree Marijuana should be legalized

Think of all the money the government could make off of the taxing of the substance. Legalization would take the cash from drug sales out of the hands of criminals and put it into the government to help sustain the comunity as a whole.

  • just moved new area

lovin this video!! leave me a comment 8B

  • I doubt it will be legalized. It costs 5000 + dollars for a pound of good chronic, a plant that grows out of the ground (WHICH is enough to cure cancer, look up "Run from the cure"). If marijuana was legalized, you could grow your own pounds every 2 months with less than 500 dollars, i think the government is just using the illegal trade as a moneymaker

  • "It costs 5000 + dollars for a pound of good chronic..."

You're getting solidly ripped off by about 115%.

  • i aint ever gonna buy that shit lol, i was just guessing using my brain while on chonic, how much is a pound then for you

  • Marijuana is so incredibly cheap to produce, that the government could tax it by as much as 3000%, and it would still be cheap than current street prices. Instead they would rather spend billions of dollars on the drug war, and only seize around 10-15% of total marijuana being smuggled into the country.

  • I don't think it would entirely eliminate cancer, but I mean I have read reports of it inhibiting the cancer by killing off the old or useless cells that could become cancerous. This is what delta-9 THC does. But yeah I mean even that is just brilliant, one of the many reasons we should legalize and embrace.

  • Keeping it illegal isn't really doing any thing either, except getting people arrested and costing tax dollars.

  • Well then... That's like saying reading a book doesn't improve your vocabulary.

    You're ignorant.

  • Too right man. But the saddest thing of all is that I can't see a day where Marijuana use will be legalized.

  • 5 starz great video. i just cant get around the fact that hippies tht smoke weed are more dangerous then alcoholics

  • this hits home write you're congress rep. if you're in the u.s. with the economy in the dumps re-do the herb stamp only make it work this time around spread the word!

  • Last 40 Seconds ++ Awesome point.

  • every 36 seconds someone gets busted? Damn! and people wonder why we are so paranoid.....

  • Great video....I think it would be great for Marijuna to be legal and taxed by the US government as it is the largest cash crop in the USA....Ther unfortunate thing though is there is no way to tell just how high a person is and if they are too high to drive

  • would it not be better to spend the money on training the police to spot erratic driving after all does it matter whether the driver is on drugs either legal or illegal or alcohol or prescription pain killers and there is no test for most legal drugs either. tell you what here it is the ones that are to old to drive causing all the mayhem on the road and there is no breath test for them either!!

  • Ok, the second idiot in a row saying the same retarded thing. They have a sobriety test already, and if you're not too drunk you can pass it. If you're too high to drive then you probably won't be able to pass, but the whole point is stupid. People drive while high all the time and you're not hearing stories in the news about stoners killing people on the highway. Stupid people cause accidents all the time, let's give IQ tests, and all the morons get their license revoked. problem solved. yay!

  • free the weed!

  • Marijuana makes almost everyone more peaceful and content, that doesn't work well when fighting against the ruthless government machine.

They won't decriminalize it until there is some kind of revolution where other big changes are done at which time these ridiculous marijuana laws can be changed as well.

  • Another Victim-less crime villianized by misdirected sanctimony.

The sane solution? -- tax it, regulate it, and keep it safe.

  • at 1;16 the lettering on the tire cover is fake... everything was hand lettered then and thats not hand painted. it also bleeds over the edge without distorting.

  • point is, the marijuana prohibition doesnt cause any violence, just injustice.

  • the fact that marijuana makes people less aggressive is bittersweet. obviously it is good because it makes the drug more harmless; bad because it being illegal isn't enough of a threat to the government.

  • Freedom from the system of things, people on pot can ignore the stress and demand of our economy. With a supply of grass a person can stay at home, be happy with out cable TV, be happy with out a shinny car, and pretty much decide that they don't need to slave 40+ hours a week to be happy.

The people that are worth 1000x more than you don't want you to be content, they want you to build their castles. To have a 1st class airplane seat you must have many more 3rd class seats. Air/Water/Food Free

  • "Thou Shalt Not Create A criminal From a Difference of Taste And Opinion"

Get Real People Demand Your Right to Eat what You Want, and call your own medical Shots, Regarding Herbal Elixers and General Treatment, Demand Compassion, Remain Seated In the Face of Threats to Your Person, PASSIVE RESISTANCE, Will defeat the Bully, No Fun for the Sickened Fascist, Dont March be Carried endure your Temporary Discomforts.Live Your Life For Yourself, Not for that of a Maniacal Leader of some sort.:) :)

  • I believe in decriminalizing of marijuana, but aslo have it the same as alcohol. With alcohol you have open container laws. Marijuana is to be sold in sealed packages. if an open packet is found in a car, you go to jail, loose your DL. Get caught driving under the influence of marijuana, you go to jail and have your DL taken from you. Get caught under the influence of marijuana on the job. You are fired with no chances of unemployment.

Or people could just growup and leave the shit alone.

  • You said, "Get caught under the influence of marijuana on the job." There is no way to test people to see if they are under the influence while working. You can only smell them or look at their eyes. If you piss test them, it's going to be positive whether they've smoked 3 hours or 3 weeks prior to the test. There is no time reference. Also your comment on people growing up is a little immature in itself. You assume that everyone that smokes is immature, and that just isn't true.

  • See how you are catching on, your staring to growup already.

  • Yes that is the one negative I see of legalizing weed. I am happy Massachusetts decriminalized possession but I wish there was a "weed breatylizer" to tell at an instant if a person is high

  • yes that would be good in the fight for reform but the closet thing we have is a urine test. maybe a line walk test or something police officers just say they smell it even if they dont and can pull you out of the car anyway

  • well, if it was "legalized" and restrictions on scientific research were relaxed or removed, then we probably could have a weed breathalyzer. I think the current state of the US economy is ripe for a legalization of marijuana. Just like in the great depression, we need tax revenues, job creation and another new "green" industry to take hold. The industry that we have now is one that benefits the prison system, arms dealers and law enforcement.

  • Don't you love, where, at 2:01, the guy literally points out "drugs on the street", over to the left of the camera; and, at 2:02 "prostitution in the back alleys", behind the camera? I only hope, MPP is ready for a visit from inquisitive people with badges & guns.

  • Hahaha!!

    Yea. That was hilarious.

  • lol dont say that!

  • I do believe he might be on to something!

  • To anyone who watched this video but hasn't seen any of the others from this channel,I highly recommend you look through the channels video and watch more, very informative and truthful vids.

  • By repealing decriminalizing of marijuana, we also end the monopoly we've handed to Big Corp's.

    .

  • And that is why right now it won't ever be legal. As long as the big corp's dictators and the central bankers run this country it will be illegal because they simply cannot allow a plant that anyone can grow to be legal because it's bad for their big businesses. Greed...power...corruption...prohibition. Wake up America and fight the corruption that's ruining this country.

  • Agreed. There's certainly far too much corruption up the ladder of our bureaucracies, from local to state to hopefully a presidency that will forever change successors to that office.

BTW, today's PolitoCorruptus Award goes to Illinois' governor Rod Blagojevich. One more down. Too many others left to put down.

  • a high kid was here X :)

  • This guy is the holy reefer messenger

  • Great video :)

  • great video i don't understand why government officials aren't watching the videos on this channel

  • Decriminilization is the closest thing that could happen in the next decade, we need to better regulate and control this, instead of out-right banning it lol. All is described in this video and all their other ones, what more can I say but !!!!!pǝǝʍ ǝɥʇ ǝzılɐƃǝl

  • It should be legalized for the reasons stated in this video as well as others. Sadly, I dont think it will ever happen until there is a radical change in the structure of the united states government. As long as the same politicians run the show we will have the same laws.

  • we have to wait for all the fat stupid people who thought of the law roll over and die

  • Regulate it! buy a comb.

  • Amen to this video.

  • Perhaps history can repeat itself. Obama as FDR and legalization of marijuana as to the end of prohibition. This is one case where history should indeed repeat itself.

  • legalize it

  • Weed isn't good for you.

But that doesn't mean I don't have the right to educate myself about the risks and harm myself.

  • "Weed isn't good for you."

I beg to differ and I have thousands of peer reviewed articles to back me up.

  • Whatever man, it cant be good for you.

But it can provide you with many benefits that outway the risks of the detracting factors.

  • So you agree that it can be good for you, should it be used to treat an ailment that would otherwise be worse?

  • I define something thats good for you as something that has no possible negative side effects.

Like apples, they are just pure goodness.

  • There is no such thing as a substance that is 100% good for 100% of all who partake. Nothing of the sort exists on earth and if you think that applies to medicine in any way, shape, form or fashion then you are delusional.

  • lol yeea apples! haha

  • "drugs on the street... prostitutes in the back alleys"

    haha

  • Everyone needs to help spread this around. Great video!

  • I like this video, i gave it 5 stars n favorited it, i completely agree of this video. MPP is awesome!

  • Excellent video

  • Why was prohibition well intentioned? When the issue is real freedom, why and how could it be well intentioned in any case? People who think they are well intentioned, sometimes are quite the opposite in the policies they enforce. Nice work.

  • BarefootRadio,

The "wll intentioned" aspect was probably the hope of some prohibitionists that by limiting supply, consumption would be reduced and so addiction would also be reduced. The goal of the well intentioned prohibitionists was to end addiction..

I agree with you otherwise. Deamonization and lies are not a way to combat substance abuse/addiction.

  • "When the issue is real freedom, why and how could it be well intentioned in any case?"

Religious fundamentalists do not care who they harm in the process of implementing their arcane beliefs as law.
