Perfect World International - Tutorial: Crafting

I'm been playing Perfect World International Genesis for a 3 months now I think and when I see this video the layout looks rather diffrent from the one I see infront of me.Like the little menues when you look up things.

IS cuz I have Genesis? or maybe cuz im playing in the Eourpe server?

@Yatse this is an old video they put this up when PWI was still new; Genesis is like the 3rd or 4th expansion that's why the layout looks different.

@OeCakeVideos late reply..but this game cannot be compared to WoW. the two are completely different.

Both games have flying and ground mounts, so movement is equal.

PWI has more customization by far.

Graphics are arguable.

I personally like PWI skill effects more, but WoW has some great animations as well.

leveling in PWI is tedious but worth it.

PWI has more combat variety, but WoW has better boss mechanics.

all in all...i say it's whatever you wanna play =p

All MMO's are designed off of a base game. The very original game of RPG kind, was Dungeons and Dragons. World of warcraft is an extention of this. Not a copy. All other Fantasy, and medevil MMOs, are also based, and extended off of Dungeons and dragons. Hense the feature of Dungeons. (Call to Duties/FBs) In Many MMOs. Every MMO has distinct unique properties and features. World of warcraft is only a large scale MMO, it was not the first.

WoW has no in game mall, PWI's interface is totally different, Quest's are totally different, inventory is totally different, armor and weapons are totally different, totally different graphics, the only thing that's remotely the same is the skill/hp/mana bars, you can't compare WoW to this.

From what i've seen, "The one true MMORPG is WoW, everything else is either a clone or a copy of WoW", but you're right, it basically boils down to that. It's like saying a BMW is like a Lexus car, even though they offer the same luxury, they're quite different when it comes to experience.

Perfect World was released in China since 2001. And then relreased to NA as Perfect World International

WoW was released in 2004.

This game just needs two things to improve and it would pwn every single free mmorpg.

1. They should add in the feature of auto routing characters to certain monsters/npcs in the game just like their other game Ether Saga

2. They should make the characters movement and attacking look more realistic.

Overall this is a very good game.

id like to point out that althoug this is a great tutorail i think you forgot to ementiont hats with each crafting of wpns and armor theres a chance of getting added bonuses on the wpn/armor /charm also

these can include anything from elemental resistenses to stat increase and added endurance of the item

also anyone who likes to tank higher lvl monsters better id advising learning to make lifepowders...they give a good increase to healing rate at the lowerlvls
