Many experts believe that JF-17/FC-1 is more in a competition with MiG-29 only it being a single engine & since IAF the only threat to Pakistan/PAF has large number of MiG-29s the JF-17 would fit right in the PAF. JF-17s can provide a greater defence against them aswell as take on MiG21, MiG-27, Jaguars etc (excluding Su-30MKI & may be Mirage2000H aswell).

It's licensed production of a Chinese russian/western rippoffs.The plane is a run on of a prototype rejected by the Soviet Airforce, sold to China and rejected by the Chinese airforce then offered to Pakistan. Pakistans contributions to the jf-17 was to provide some funding and give the chinese an F-16 to study. The Chinese then did the the work of designing and making the aircraft, and for the 4th test flight they invited a Pakistani pilot to come fly it.

I can compare JF-17 with SU30MKI... because the Fact shows that in Jan. 2009 JF-17 Locked SU30MKI when 2 SU30s entered in PAK air space and as JF-17 locked them they run away. Initially indian Govt. said that IAF's fighter entered in PAK space by Mistake but as they came to know that IAF SU30s were locked by JF-17 indian Govt. take a U turn and denied all this. lolz...
Why after this incident I am comparing JF-17 with SU30 because SU30 has no track record of any success in any combat.

Many experts believe that JF-17/FC-1 is more in a competition with MiG-29 only it being a single engine & since IAF the only threat to Pakistan/PAF has large number of MiG-29s the JF-17 would fit right in the PAF. JF-17s can provide a greater defence against them aswell as take on MiG21, MiG-27, Jaguars etc (excluding Su-30MKI & may be Mirage2000H aswell).

There is no comparison between a flying eagle (JF-17) and a vulture's baby (LCA) sitting in its nest since 1982.
IAF (Idiot Airforce) has announced that thier LCA (LAST CHANCE AIRCRAFT) won't be operational before 2015 (not sure). Whereas PAF will have 250 JF-17 by 2015 and then from 2015 to onward PAF will have JF-17 Block II and stupid indians trying to compair it with thier failed LCA. Lolz...

Not really. It's licensed production of a Chinese russian/western rippoffs.The plane is a run on of a prototype rejected by the Soviet Airforce, sold to China and rejected by the Chinese airforce then offered to Pakistan. Pakistans contributions to the jf-17 was to provide some funding and give the chinese an F-16 to study. The Chinese then did the the work of designing and making the aircraft, and for the 4th test flight they invited a Pakistani pilot to come fly it.

I do not know how anybody can miss the similarity of the wing here with Mig 21. A fuselage which is bigger than MIG 21 and place to have one radar. PAk would have been better off buying some second hand a/s from others. Really this is another scam. HOW can you send your pilots against TEJAS. here is the thing, Mig 21 doesnot have wing twist neither does it. so, in combat, this will bleed in turns too. An average radar from french, china (most likely) will NOT make this any better. Sad and a SCAM
