  • OMG! What a trip down memory lane. My sisters and I still quote most of these. We memorized them all. After so much use our record skipped on "I told you you'd be sorry, so the end just kept played "sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry", My favorites were Agatha Morley and the Bat. Thanks so much for posting.

  • Paul Hecht scared the hell out of me when I heard this record as a kid, particularly THE ERL KING!! I have quoted "Ruth and Johnny" my whole life. Thanx for putting this up!

  • Amazing!! So many memories!! thank you soooo much

  • Thanks so very much for posting this piece of my childhood. Awesome!!!

  • I read about the Erl King. He's supposedly some sort of elven king with a beard and, like fairies, is feared because he is said to kidnap human children he takes a fancy to. What happens to the child after that is uncertain.

  • I haven't heard "The Velvet Ribbon" in 30 years. Very spooky as a child. Thanks for posting this!

  • Glad you liked it! I can remember my school playing this record over the intercom system on Halloween when I was in grade school. Very creepy! That last part where she says, "I told you you'd be sorry......" still sends chills down my spine!

  • Me too!

  • Great Scary Videos, Thankyou!

  • Thanks for posting this. It was great to hear "Dust" agin, after all these years.
